We have been four days in Milan for business and tourism and this is the best meal of our trip. Previous 5⭐️ reviews are 100% spot on. The Pacchero el Ragu was the best pasta dish I’ve had while here. It was divine. The “elephant ears” were an enjoyable authentic Milanese treat. Just LOVED this place. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy. You can come here dressed casual or dressed up—either way you will feel at home with a warm and welcoming host who made great recommendations for us, including wine. We had three courses and drinks. Ristorante di nuova gestione aperto da poco, data la vicinanza alla nostra abitazione, mia moglie ed io abbiamo deciso di provarlo. l’ambiente è molto accogliente e rilassato, intimo. il menù è ben strutturato, molto completo per quanto riguarda i piatti di carne. abbiamo provato gli antipasti, polenta con zola e noci e le polpette in sugo: davvero ottimi entrambi, in particolare le polpette erano meritevoli di menzione particolare sia per la qualità della carne sia per il sugo di pomodoro ottimo e saporito. come piatto principale abbiamo optato per il filetto alla voronoff con senape e all’orecchia di elefante con cipolle di Tropea caramellate. anche con queste portate non siamo rimasti delusi, anzi. ci ha particolarmente colpito l’ottima cottura delle carni e l’alta qualità delle materie prime (tra l’altro la carta offre una vasta scelta di orecchie di elefante, tutte di vitello e cotte nel burro). per concludere degnamente la cena, come dessert abbiamo preso il cannolo siciliano, specialità della casa data l’origine sicula del titolare, e il tortino di mele. ottima conclusione di una cena che ci ha piacevolmente colpito. decisamente corretto il rapporto qualità/prezzo. molto gentile e disponibile il titolare, mai invadente durante la cena, ma con cui abbiamo volentieri scambiato qualche chiacchiera. una bella novità per la zona, dove mancava un ristorante di questa tipologia....
