Apollo Milano — Restaurant in Milan

If i could give negative stars to this place i would. Despite arriving early to the club there was a bit of a queue, but nothing immense. WRONG. A tiny lineup turned out to be a 1 HOUR WAIT, and they even separated my group to boot – 1h apart. Could have been more as i left after the 1 hour mark because it made no sense to join in after that point. They let in countless groups ahead of us and offered no explanation, even after we explained that our friends had been let in an hour prior. They merely said that there was unfortunately a bit of a wait. I understand the notion of a guest list but the separation of a group for an exaggerated amount of time is completely unacceptable – there needs to be a balance. When a friend came out to check on us the lady at the door impatiently told her that she was either in or out. If you plan on going to a club with friends, this is not the place for you – trust me you will end up without them. I have never written a google review, even for places where i have received bad service, but i felt the strong need to do so for this “establishment” because the quality of their disservice is...

They are racism, we made a queue for 1 hour in the Halloween night and with full costume and make up. But they didn’t let us in, the girl in the entrance over there said that “ we are selective, go away, there’s queue behinds you, GO AWAY!” And they pushed us away badly. After us, there were two tall boys without makeup or costumes, they just flirted with that girl and she let them in. I asked them on instagram if we need to register in advance, they said no. And because my first experience was nice, so I recommended it to my friends and my friends followed me there in Halloween night instead of making list for other discos. (The first time I was brought in by two strangers). Like it happened to many foreigners, that selector is just racism and very shallow. Because of this disco, we did not register to other discos and wasted a bunch of time over there in the Halloween night. Worst experience ever! You should have just written your standard otherwise you can just ask people to pay for the list in advance instead of humiliating people and...

Very bad experience for my friends and I trying to get inside the nightclub: we arrived at 23:30 (it was supposed to open at 23) to be sure to get in as it’s small and crowded. There were only four girls in front of us and we were a group of three girls. We wait until midnight because apparently it was not opened yet. A 10-15 meters queue had appeared in the meantime behind us. After waiting for almost an hour the first four girls get inside, then the security guy(?) looks at us and simply says « no ». My friend asks for an explanation, we’re being told that we won’t be able to get in and we just got ditched like that without any apparent reason … We were dressed appropriately for the event, we were a small group, we weren’t drunk nor rude and we had arrived very early so I assume we just didn’t fit their beauty/style standards or something. It felt so humiliating and we will obviously never try to come back again or recommend this place to other people. It is a pain in general to get in clubs in Milan but I’ve never faced that...
