La Cantina del Mangia — Restaurant in Milan

I'm a student in University of Milan and this is my favorite lunch spot around my campus. The food may be not outstanding in any ways, but the quantity is filling. Service is very nice and they are generous with students, especially comparing to other restaurants I have been to. That's why this place get 5 stars from me.

Plus, the place is spacious enough so I can eat there comfortably, however I normally take away and they packed me with very good boxes.

Highly recommend if you want a proper lunch with affordable...

Alla "cantina", allocata al piano sotterraneo di un edificio poco distante da Piazza Diaz, si arriva scendendo lungo uno scalone a chiocciola; potrebbe non essere altresì accessibile da un disabile in carrozzina, ma forse ci sono ingressi appositamente riservati agli invalidi.

Le pizze hanno prezzi del tutto nella media: le meno care sono la Margherita (5,50€) e l'Ortolana (4,50€), con la Quattro Formaggi e Quattro stagioni entrambe a 7,00€ (questo il prezzo più alto).

Anche i prezzi delle bibite sono nella media, per altro è molto ampia la scelta (tè alla pesca o al limone, coca cola, sprite, fanta, eccetera).

Si accede ai tavoli solo dopo essersi soffermati in cassa, che consiste in un bancone con un ripiano di appoggio molto utile per posizionare i vassoi in attesa del pagamento.

Amazing place to eat. Prices are great, the service people are very nice and try their best to help you. We came here two days in a row, because we found great healthy delicious food for a great price. There are also more options available, but we didnt have time...
