To start the atmosphere is nice and the view is pretty good, a decent place aesthetically.

My partner and I came here as tourists and didn't understand how the menu worked in regards to there being a first meal and a main meal. We thought you were meant to order both and so started with the "first meal" after which the waiter immediately left..

We quickly waved him back and on his return explained we didn't understand how it worked to which he explained you usually only have one. My girlfriend explained we thought maybe the portion sizes were small and so were going to order both which he clearly took offence to and returned with "no! we don't do small portions here!" in a rather arrogant and offended tone of voice..

We asked to just cancel our order and change to a main course instead to which he said no to..

It had been maybe 30 seconds from us ordering but he said he will not change our order and it has been done even though we didn't want the food now. I would understand if we waited 5 minutes to ask him to change but the fact he wouldn't change after honestly around 30 seconds is absurd, bad service..

The food we did get was very nice though, I will admit. Just very disappointed at his tone of voice and not being willing to change our food so shortly after ordering. I doubt the chef even had time to see the order come through.

A side note is the portion size was actually very small and we ordered a main as well afterwards which added the the annoyance of the waiters rather rude "we don't do small portions".

Overall the food and rooftop was nice and the waiter did take a photo for us which was good but the service and tone when ordering was not a...

Please AVOID AVOID AVOID this place by all means and never ever considering to stay there or use the Roof Top bar. We have never been treated so poorly and disrespectful by the staff who is working there.

I was absolutely shocking by "low middle floor" staff rudeness, disrespectful and physical aggression especially from the security staff, who doesn't even understand the human language or simply cannot read the legislation about Covid-19 requirements implemented by the Italian Government... This is probably impact of the low class education for the staff and Manager of The Roof Milano. We were DENIED entrance after some of our friends were already upstairs. The ‘bouncer’ PIETRO should Not be allowed to continue working in that establishment. He was beyond rude and racist. When I told PIETRO that some of our friends were already upstairs he SIMPLY TOLD I WASN'T ALLOWED TO ENTER. I have never witness someone denying entry to a group of well put together women simply based on someone’s RACIST views.

We are visiting from the UK. The services we used to received and treated well by the most prestigious places like 5 Hetford or Anabelle or Art Club in London is absolutely nothing to even think to compare with The Roof Milano- simple avoid and never waist your valuable time for it.

There is much nicer place to visit in Milan. I would recommend you Radio Rooftop Bar or LiQuido Rooftop Bar were the staff is more nicer and service is...
