Suite Milano Duomo — Hotel in Milan

My wife, Jessica and I just finished our stay at Suite Milano Duomo during our Honeymoon. ||I can’t stress enough how AMAZING this place is! ||Leonardo and his team are incredible, kind people and care so much about their guests! You can really tell that they take so much pride in their property and care deeply about their guests and making their stay special. ||I was initially hesitant to book here because I wasn’t sure what the experience would be like - staying in boutique, privately owned property in a different country (we are from the U.S.)||My wife and I are fairly used to staying at traditional 4-5 star luxury hotels - larger, well established, more-commercialized properties… where we general know what to expect ahead of time. So… choosing something different like this was a bit nerve wracking for me. ||However, the intimate, yet luxurious accommodations of Suite Milan Duomo were perfect and definitely exceeded my expectations! ||Prior to arrival, Leonardo and his assistants reached out to me a few days in advance to anticipate our arrival and offer any assistance we may need. They provided complimentary early check-in which helped accommodate our schedule (we were coming from Como and due to Train issues, we took a private driver that made our arrival earlier than initially planned).||They also surprised us with an amazing design of roses throughout the room congratulating our marriage and celebrating our honeymoon! WOW!||The suites are on the 6th floor of a shared building and very easy to navigate. As soon as we got off the elevator, we were immediately greeted by Paulo who showed us our rooms, gave us some tips about Milan, and offered himself to be at our service if we needed anything at all. ||We also met Leonardo (the owner) which was very special. We could immediately tell he cared about us which was so refreshing. ||The rooms:||The Suite was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and had an amazing view of the Duomo along with a spacious balcony, large, modern bathroom, very comfortable bed, and well stocked mini bar. It was perfect! ||The location: absolutely superb! Walking distance to anything and everything you want to see in Milan!||Overall I can’t say better things about Suites Milano Duomo. And the price was fabulous (value well exceeded the cost). ||Thank you Leonardo and Paulo for the incredible accommodations and making our stop in Milan so special! Great location, very close to attractions, perfect for early starts before the queues start. We were upgraded to the suite shown in photo, a superior double room with balcony, No.9, but viewed No.7 which we initially booked which was also perfect||Staff went above and beyond, “met and greet service” meant you felt like you were staying in a luxury hotel.||Suites are on 6th floor, lift took you from ground floor, whilst small it took us and our small luggage comfortably. You are supplied with 3 keys, 1st to open front door, 2nd to open door to suites floor, 3rd to our room. All proper keys, not swipe cards which can be a pain. Do not be put off by entrance to the building which is dated but very clean, sometimes manned by a very nice man.|.|Felt very safe in both the area and the building.||The owners office is on suite floor. Leonardo or one of his staff were on hand during the day, to ask about anything. Nice touch is they message you before arrival to confirm everything and in contact with recommendation if asked. They certainly gave good customer service.||You are supplied with tokens for Breakfast, which is exchanged at one of two cafés in immediate area, one under the apartments the other on other side of the road. We ate at both and had the Coffee, Croissant and a Juice. Croissants in the bar across the road were fresh baked and amazing, the cafes are frequented mostly by the locals which says a lot.||Please note this was a suite on Via Flavio Baracchini, they also offer rooms which are in a different building. We accidentally booked one of these in the beginning but again they went above and beyond with communication to change it.||We only stopped 2 nights but would have been happy to...

We booked our rooms direct with the owners we first found the communication fantastic lots of information on how to get there and I had asked them to recommend some local restaurants.|We arrived in the afternoon and was very warmly greeted by one of the owners the keys were given over to us with the vouchers for breakfast. Don’t be put off by entering an office block the floor the Suites are on a fabulous there are two lifts which were always available with no issues.|The room we had had a balcony the bed was large the linen white clean and fresh slippers in the bathroom and large bath towels. The weather when we arrive was fantastic so we made use of the balcony. The bathroom was large and very clean. Anything you want seems to be no trouble I asked for a flat pillow on the WhatsApp chat and when we arrive back after sightseeing, it was on our bed. I would 100% return. My only one negative comment would be the breakfast it’s free so you can’t really moan about it but on two days they had run out of croissants so we shared half of a toasted...
