This was the perfect spot for lunch while in Milan for a short break.

I thought this place looked nice when I was looking at options on Google Maps and it really is. We came for a late lunch and tried their delicious pasta. The ravioli with ricotta and spinach in sage butter was some of the best I've had. The generous bread serving was also delicious and perfect for mopping up plates. The service was super helpful and friendly - while I understand a bit of Italian, I struggle to get my words out, but they were able to understand me and were also happy to speak English.

The extra bonus was that it was nice enough weather to sit outside, in November! Via Lecco is a pleasant spot - quite quiet and laid back, so a great place for...

Outstanding pasta. The eggplant parmigiana was insanely good. I would even recommend it to someone who doesn't like eggplant because the flavor is out of this world. The other dishes we tried (carbonara, lasagna, and pomodoro & ricotta) were all excellent. Everything we had here was better than the best thing we tried at a few other restaurants in Milan.

We also got pastries to eat the next morning before our train to Venice and they were still tasty after 18 hours.

Having gone on to Venice, Florence, and Rome, this remains the best meal we have...

Went for a quick latte just now (didn’t try the food) but they did not have lactose free milk. I decided to get an ice tea instead and they totally overcharged. My 400ml peach ice tea cost 4 Euros but I found the same ice tea (1.5 liters) for less than 2 Euros elsewhere.

Thought about coming back for drinks later because they are so close to where I’m staying but I definitely will not be returning. One of the men in back seemed to convince the lady serving us to up charge the tea. Kind of...

I would like to thank you for working during the day time, when all other restaurants are closed. The food was delicious, service was good and atmosphere was nice. We took a steak and ravioli with beef - and both meals were very delicious! As well as the pistachios croissant (but I would like to point out that we had someone’s hair in the croissant. Please pay attention to that!) and would be great to have some fresh veggies or salads on the menu. Otherwise everything was great!
