Maruzzella — Restaurant in Milan

This place is perfect if you are looking to waste an enormous amount of time and not get any service.

We started our adventure by being seated in decent time. The restaurant was fairly busy but given that we only waited 5 minutes for a table, we figured it would be alright.

It's 5 minutes after we've been seated and no one has come to greet us. The people next to us look happy with their food tho, it looks like a couple meeting someone's parents for the first time.

10 minutes after being seated, I've read the menu for the 3rd time. I imagine the food might be good. No one has spoken to us or taken our order. The people who arrived after us have received drinks. The waiter signals "1 minute" hand gesture to us for the first time. OK...

15 minutes on, my daughter is complaining about being hungry. Tell me about it girl. No drinks, no order taken. The menu is a cruel joke at this point. The happy laughter of the table next to us is a mockery. The waiter signals "1 minute" to us again. Guy's a damn liar.

20 minutes on, it's time to leave. The waiter sees us stand up and gather our things. He lamely looks at us and ducks back into the kitchen. My daughter says "I'm hungry I don't want to go." I attempt to explain how life sometimes disappoints us, including supposedly decent Italian restaurants. She looks at me in confusion and repeats that she is...

Don't go to this place! I went there because of the good reviews and I had the worst experience ever in Italy. The waiter Peppe was rude since the beginning asking about my nationality and giving me some facial judgmental expressions about my answer (I am Brazilian and I am so proud of it). Then he was inpatient all the time with me and my family. The meat (suggested by him) came up raw and it was asked to recook and it was the same again. THEN HE DID THE UNBELIEVABLE: WHEN WE REFUSED TO EAT THE PLATE HE CUT THE MEAT (TOUCHING IN OUR FORKS ANS KNIVES) BY HIMSELF AND WAS OFFERING US TO EAT IT. THIS IS SO DISRESPECTFUL! I've never been treated like this in my life! And I asked for the manager and nobody showed up. They were like avoiding any kind of confrontation and I was said so many times by a guy called "John": "my boss is not here, there's nothing I can do, you just pay and go! Worst server ever! I paid 101,00 Euros for a low quality food and terrible service!...

IT WAS THE AWFUL PLACE IN MY VACATION!!!!

waiters are rude.the food was almost thrown on the table.twice (!!!!) tried to brazenly deceive!!!!ordered one pizza ,brought two and forced to pay for them.after that, realizing that with us so you can behave, the waiter brought again instead of one dessert-two!!!let's start with the fact that we walked for a long time and I first wanted to drink something hot!!!and then a snack and a glass of wine.the waiter began to take the order and heard about tea or coffee to begin with,immediately began to be rude!!!said that if the tea you drink, then leave the restaurant!!!I wanted there and eat (I walked all day.Of course ,I wanted to eat. )but after such rudeness to speak and sit in this place not was no desires!!!don't go there.it's disgusting.and the kitchen is also So-so!!!to much...
