Murphy's Law — Restaurant in Milan

My friend recommended this pub and it is a very nice bar! It's a simple bar concept which I love but couldn't really find in the Milan centre. They show football matches and have a really nice beer selection. They have Brand beer on tap which is always a lovely thing. It's packed with people hanging out and having a drink. The staff is nice and helpful, I had zero worries or things to mention after visiting twice! The food is pretty good here, ordered some simple nachos which is literally just tortillas with cheese. Did it's thing. The burger my friend ordered was pretty good! So in case it feels like they don't serve food, ask for the menu!

The ambiance was great, staff was lovely and good beers. What else could you ask for in a pub....

I like Guinness but this pub has Murphy stout that is also nice. I came here night and afternoon. Why two stars is the second time I came here and had two one pint of beer. I was waiting for a bus that’s departure time was midnight and I was tire to walk around in town. I sat table at corner because of charger. And then bartender came and put a card something advertise entertainment and he said this table was reserved for tonight but I don’t need to leave. Usually restaurant and bar have reserved cards but this pub doesn’t because they don’t reserve tables. That meant get out until night and his face said that. I never had this kind of experience. Two stars for beer that was very good and zero star for service that was terrible....

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per 6 persone in occasione di una partita. A causa di alcuni problemi, facciamo ritardo, chiamando e avvisando il locale, ci dicono che non ci sono problemi. Al nostro arrivo, il cameriere ci dice che abbiamo fatto troppo tardi, che aspettano massimo 15 min e che il tavolo non c'è più. Noi gli facciamo notare che abbiamo chiamato per avvisare del ritardo e che se avessero avuto un tempo minimo di attesa dovevano comunicarcelo. Il cameriere si rivolge male e noi usciamo dal locale. Mentre usciamo ci raggiunge un altro cameriere dicendo che un tavolo per noi c'era. Ci sediamo e guarda caso, il tavolo aveva un bigliettino con la nostra prenotazione. Quindi si parla di una vera e propria mancanza di dialogo tra personale! Comunque ci sediamo e ci offrono un menù misero perché era la serata "partita". Ma va bene, ordiniamo i panini "classico" (hamburger, insalata, pomodoro e cipolla), patatine e birre, da precisare che il tutto è stato servito senza apparecchiare e senza neanche un tovagliolo. Nei panini mancava la cipolla e ci dicono che è finita, gli chiediamo le salse e porta 2 bustine di maionese per 6 persone, le posate le abbiamo dovute chiedere perché non sono arrivate. Tra l'altro le salse sono state prese da altre persone sedute al tavolo affianco al nostro. Subito dopo mangiato, arriva il cameriere che ci dice "vi faccio pagare già, poi se prendete altro lo pagate", boh, forse aveva paura che scappavamo?!?! Totale conto 71.5, ma ci chiede 24.5 a coppia invece di 24.6 facendoci credere che ci ha fatto risparmiare 0.10 centesimi a coppia, quindi già c'è qualcosa che non torna. Poi le porzioni di patatine le aumenta di un euro rispetto al menù. Gli facciamo notare la discordanza dei prezzi e ci tornano indietro i soldi in più dicendo "questo è il massimo che possiamo fare", secondo me non hanno fatto niente proprio, anzi hanno aggiustato semplicemente i prezzi come da menù!
