This is a true local restaurant in a residential area of Milan. It is just amazing. This place is worth the trip outside of Milan’s tourist area because you will get a quality meal at local prices. This place is popular with the locals because it is huge and always packed (also notice all the review in Italian below). I was living in Milan when I found this place when my mom came to visit and stayed in a nearby B&B. We went there the second night she was in Milan and went back every night thereafter. The food was that unbelievably good. They has an outstanding antipasto bar with all kinds of deliciousness including raw sea food. The risottos here are to die for and so are the steaks. I know that Italian food is generally great, but after living in Milan you get a sense for what is greater than great. The place is nice, with seats inside and a nice small terrace towards the street. We got different pasta options, salmon tartare, pizza funghi and squid with vegetables. Some fell in love with their dishes and some felt like they were okay. We topped it off with a tiramisu and some intense, good espresso. The waiter was very nice.
