Old Wild West - Milano Duomo — Restaurant in Milan

I have been a customer of this restaurant for a long time and usually enjoy the branch in Biccoa Village, which is always nice. However, this branch was a very disappointing experience.

We arrived around 10:20 PM and saw that the restaurant was open until 11:30 PM, but the staff barely attended to us. We waited 10 to 15 minutes for someone to take our order. The staff were speaking beside us and seemed annoyed that we had come in while they were about to close. Imagine the restaurant is open until 11:30 PM and a customer arrives one hour before closing. They should still be polite and attentive.

We ordered a smash hamburger and chicken, which we usually enjoy at the Biccoa Village branch, but what we received was a big surprise. The hamburger was small, more like a fast food style, and not a proper smashed burger. It felt like they just wanted to bring something quickly and finish their shift.

I asked the manager to check the staff at this branch. They were not polite, not responsible, and will not serve customers properly if you come one hour before closing. This was my last visit to this branch and I strongly suggest people avoid it and try other...

To begin with there qas no one to seat us. It took them time for aomeone to notice that we were waiting. Once they waited, we were immediately attended to. Service time was good, however the food wasn't too good. Cold and undercooked.

I was with my 6 year old, who eats slow. When others were done, she was still eating and had some food on her plate. The staff came to clear the plates, I told them no to clear her plate (and she could take all others). Just to be sure she didn't misunderstand (Language gap), I picked up all plates that were to be cleared and started handing them over to her. She picked my daughter's plate, I took it from her hand, telling her again that she was still not done (with hand gestures, as well), and placed it back in front of my daughter.

However a few seconds later they picked up my daughter's plate and cleared it, along with other plates.

What more does it take for a sane person to understand that the plate shouldn't be cleared? My 6 y.o wasn't too happy with the place. Her last bite of burger and some of her fries (her favorite food) was...

Should wait to be seated but no personnel at the entrance, so I got in and was almost scolded at the counter because I shall be escorted to a table by a waiter that wasn’t in sight. Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, fries and a draft coke. The burger was awful: both the paddy and the bacon really had a microwaved feel (no crunch no caramelisation), the bun (tbh declared to be unfrozen) was super dry and it fell into pieces half way. Showed the bun fragments to the waiter who replied “I don’t know what to say, I’m not in the kitchen”. Went to pay and the cashier took the ticket, crushed it, threw it away without saying anything at all apart from the price which included a 2.50 euro for the service, here it’s something the waiter could have told her colleague go wave something, offer a drink anything that could have remediated their abysmal hamburger experience. Never again in this non sensical place, I somehow have a grudge with myself because I just wanted to skip the far far better Burger King...
