Didn’t have a good experience at all..worst meal and experience to be honest. Maybe should’ve gotten something different however the service was bad and so was the food, the person we were greeted with was lovely but then he disappeared, when we were seated our side plates were automatically taken away before even ordering and weren’t brought back. We were the only customers and we struggled to find our server for the half an hour we spent there. We ordered the truffle pasta only as we were in a rush to catch a train, we were planning on getting dessert but didn’t due to how bad the food and service was. The water we ordered was just plonked on our table not even poured into our glasses, when I asked for balsamic vinegar and olive oil to have with the bread it took a good 5 minutes to arrive, again we are the ONLY people dining. Our server would just disappear! When he finally came over I didn’t have a plate to eat off of let alone put the oil and balsamic on. Anyways bread was great I mean you can’t really mess that up.. the pasta came over and it smelt like straight up gasoline. No truffle smell at all, I took one bite and it tasted like it smelt, I had about three forkfuls and then just left it.. couldn’t find or get ahold of the waiter to even let him know, so for about 15 minutes we just sat there, another customer had walked in and he seemed to be paying them attention and after two times of trying to get his attention I gave up. When he finally came over to take our plates he made a comment saying ‘too much?’ As I didn’t finish my pasta or even eat half and I replied with ‘no just not good at all’ he ignored it and I asked for the bill. When the bill came over I said I’d pay cash and I realised there’s a service charge added with a percentage next to it. Now I’m used to a cover charge but never had a service charge been added. I asked for it to be removed and I got a hasty response of ‘why?’ I explain to our server that he was very hard to find, when I asked for one thing it took quite some time to come considering we’re the only people dining in such a small restaurant, that he didn’t come over to ask if the food was okay, and at the end of the meal when I didn’t let him know that it wasn’t nice at all he just ignored it. He responded with ‘but when you asked for the balsamic vinegar I brought over didn’t I?’ I responded with yes but it took a long time considering we’re the only people here and you also didn’t bring us any plate to put it on or eat on so we had to use the plate the bread was already on, he said we don’t bring plates for that here..that’s very odd, I believe every place would provide a plate for oil and vinegar or atleast a plate for people to eat over.. any who so we established this was definitely a service charge, I then said I understand if it’s a cover charge you can’t remove it but it would say cover charge.. he then proceeded to say ‘this is a cover charge’ (it may be my first time in Italy but it’s not my first time on this planet) I’m not that stupid to know that it says service charge with the percentage next to it and it doesn’t say cover charge which is a flat rate per person. He was putting me in the position of as if I’m stupid, and arguing with me.. he kept ignoring the fact that I didn’t want to pay the service and said twice ‘No problem I’ll bring you back your ONE euro change’ I just left the €50 on the table got up and left. Also there was a man I don’t know who he was, sitting opposite us on his phone playing out loud videos the entire time… such a bad experience I definitely wouldn’t go here. Again I looked at reviews and they were all good, just be aware. The server wasn’t Italian and I don’t think the owner or the place was either! Such a shame.

No 100% ITALIAN TASTE !!! Service horrible , combine a owner or manager that is extremely noisy and trying to make jocks and comedy all the time , rest of people on service was a mess , this manager talking to then as they are stupid in front of you , the jock can be about everything or everyone , from my opinion to much and making the ambience very uncomfortable and not proper of a good restaurant. Also this manager was asking to someone to move his seat for other table when he was still on the meal for ubícate customers that literally ask in the street to come in . - About the food , I order lobster spaghetti that in the menu says highly recommended and was a huge portion of spaghetti and half lofters with shrimps , dish big but zero taste , nothing special impossible to finish & no flavor of Italian cuisine. Previous day I order in other restaurant near by same dish and was amazing nothing to be with here - Ambient : the terrace was looking nice from outside and inside was ok , the menu was looking old . Service , you need pay 11% that I didn’t know but this is not important for me but to pay for this service is ridiculous. For be fair another table next to me was mention that the food of then was very nice but my suggestion is to avoid and try others near by much better , food very taste and same range price !

First of all, this place forcibly drags people off the street and makes them sit down to eat. I ordered pizza, and my boyfriend ordered pasta. The pasta arrived first, and I waited about 10 minutes for my pizza because they couldn't manage to bring both dishes at the same time. My boyfriend's pasta got cold while we waited. The staff was unbelievably rude; they were so incredibly impolite. When I mentioned to my boyfriend that I didn't like the taste of the pizza, the waiter overheard and rudely asked why, and then asked where I was from. I don't know why that's relevant, and even if it were, it's very rude to ask. When we wanted to pay, the waiter practically threw the card machine onto the table. This is definitely a place that people unknowingly stop by because of its location, but it’s an incredibly bad place. I wouldn't recommend it at all. --- everything was extremely bad.

The manager of this place is incredibly rude—do not eat here. Seriously!!!

Although the dish I ordered was good (a cotoletta di Milanese), having to listen to the manager make fun of you and mock you, argue with his colleagues, and complain about your presence to them made me really uncomfortable and didn’t allow me to enjoy my meal at all. Likewise, having to watch how the manager speaks very politely to everyone passing by on the street but then turns to look at you with a serious or unpleasant expression doesn’t help at all.

The manager also got himself into the conversations at other tables and tried to make them order a limoncello (he also tried the same with me).

What makes this experience even worse is the fact that it all started over something as minor as me picking up a mandarin that was on the table where they had seated me and trying to eat it. Instead of addressing me in a respectful manner, saying something like, “Hey, I think it’s better if you eat the mandarin later” or “Those mandarins aren’t for customers; we placed them there by mistake”, he proceeded to scold the waiter who served me in an extremely exaggerated and disrespectful way. Honestly, he went on reprimanding him for at least 20 minutes. I understand that waiters have responsibilities, but that is not the way to treat them—especially not in front of customers who have to witness the whole argument.

I want to emphasize that the issue here is with the manager, not the waiter, who was actually very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, he was just a temporary staff member.

Honestly, the whole experience ruins your night and leaves you with a terrible impression...
