TLDR; greasy blond waiter has a stinking attitude and forced pregnant friend to buy alcohol or leave
If i could give zero stars i would. As i type this we’re still sat here; myself and two friends (one of whom is pregnant) had just finished dinner in the galleria, dressed up heels etc. We wandered down here because we had lunch nearby and the vibes looked great so we stopped off.
as we sat we were ignored for a while, then we ordered drinks and we had one wine, one cocktail, and my pregnant friend asked for sparkling water. said greasy blonde waiter said no, cocktail, beer, wine, or leave. she explained why she couldn’t drink and he said no, cocktail, wine or beer. we ordered another cocktail to share between myself and my other friend and he laughed in our faces then mocked our accents when we thanked him.
all of the tables that spoke italian got a bread basket, we of course didn’t, and he pretended to misunderstand us and not speak english. our pregnant friend also didn’t receive a napkin for her drink (petty to point out, i know).
seems the younger waitress is nice, however we should’ve read the reviews before stopping off because this guy thinks he runs milan. i’d never insult another persons profession, but i truly hope this man spends the rest of his life being front of house staff at a run down bar on the backstreets of milan; it seems that’s where he feels...

We actually started the day here on a high note – popped in for lunch and had some seriously tasty panini and bruschetta. Great food, reasonable prices, and we left feeling happy and well-fed.
Fast forward a few hours… after wandering through the Duomo and the Galleria, we decided to stop back in for three Hugos and a bottle of water before heading to our hotel. We thought, “Sure, maybe it’ll cost a bit more than lunch, but how bad could it be?”
Well… bad. €14 per Hugo bad. Let’s just say we nearly spat the drink back in the glass with the shock we just had. Their explanation? “You’re in Milan.” Sorry, but that’s such a lazy excuse. This bar is over 1 km from the main tourist attractions, and yet they’re charging the same as some places right by the Duomo – except here you’re looking at a quiet street with nothing special in sight, not the cathedral or Galleria.
We take responsibility for not checking the drink prices first, but honestly, with how fair their lunch prices were, we didn’t expect a huge jump. For comparison, other bars just a little further down were charging €8 for the same drink.
Needless to say, we skipped coming back for dinner. This review isn’t just a rant – it’s a heads-up. Always check the menu, and if you visit here for a Hugo, be prepared to pay top tourist prices without the top...
Read moreToday I was there with my friends, we wait waiter for order nobody didn’t came and one of my friend went to the bar to order in the meantime waiter came to me and o told her my friend already went to the bar for order waiters telling me like in a distrespectul way ‘’ Orders from the table we waited for the waiter to order again and she was seeing us but not looking at us because it was obvious from her actions that she didn't like us. and we are a foreign people !!!! The biggest reason was that we were clearly that. when we placed the other order, she took the order without looking at me and didn't bring it to us when there were chips and foccacio for aperitivo at the other tables, I noticed this and told her and she brought us some chips. We sat there for about 3,4 hours. During this time she never came to us and asked if we have another order. She was a very disrespectful and rude woman. I would never recommend going to a place that doesn't respect customers, especially if you don't want to be humiliated!!! The waiter was a woman and her hair was red. I don't think they take these comments into consideration but I'm writing for other...
