I must say it was an exceptional experience. The standout dish of the evening was the OssoBuco, and it exceeded all my expectations.

From the moment the dish arrived at the table, I was captivated by its enticing aroma and beautiful presentation. The OssoBuco was impeccably cooked, with the meat falling off the bone effortlessly. The flavors were rich and harmoniously balanced, showcasing the skill and expertise of the chefs at Rosso Brera.

The accompanying risotto was a perfect complement to the OssoBuco. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. The portion size was generous, ensuring that every bite was a delightful journey of culinary delight.

The service at Rosso Brera was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They provided excellent recommendations and personalized attention, making me feel like a valued guest throughout the evening.

The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and inviting, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. The attention to detail in the décor and lighting added to the overall charm of the dining experience.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Rosso Brera to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Milan. The OssoBuco alone is worth the visit, but the entire menu is a testament to the culinary excellence of the restaurant. Impeccable service, exquisite flavors, and a welcoming ambiance make Rosso Brera a true gem in the...

Terrible, terrible terrible and overcharging, don't go there!

I was here with my family today. We ordered risotto, baked salmon and lasagne for the kids. After quit some time; apparently there was no more salmon and also no more lasagne...? No sorry, just the message. So we ordered the cheapest they had instead-;). Plain and simple Penne.

Then a man inside started to shout, some kind of fight was going on. Hard yelling and something was smashed to the floor. I think he was the boss but I am not sure. He was from the restaurant for sure. The waiters were looking nervously at each other outside and one closed the doors so we could not hear the trouble inside.

Then diner was served but the penne hadn't cooked long enough (!!!), it had been taken out too soon, so it was actually still quit hard. And bad sauce. And of course the risotto too, terrible, no taste.

And then we were charged €16,- extra (each €4,00 costs). Standard service cost they said, every restaurant in Milan did this. Yeah I am still really angry, we were screwed in this place. And the water they start pouring in your glasses immediately... € 4,00 too...

Hope our experience will keep at least one guest out in the future, then writing this has...

this is one of the worst places i’ve ever dined at in my whole life of travel and restaurants. the waiters were so incredibly rude to customers, making fun of their english and yelling at them, they gave us dirty glasses and plates which we had to change and the waiters held our drinking cups from the top part where u drink from… we ordered the veal milanese and riso alla milanese. veal was literally bloody, im a veal milanese enthusiast and this is by far the most disgusting cutlet i’ve ever come across… the risotto was absolutely terrible and left a horrible taste in my mouth. one of my friends ordered a lasagne and she said its the worst shes ever had.. it had 0 flavor and NO RAGU?!?! i wish i never ate here it ruined my whole day please dont come here if u want to eat good food. worst part is we’re gonna leave here around €50 poorer. disgusting and not...

Stopped here for lunch in Brera Rosso Brera caught our attention due to a short line in front of the place, with the majority being locals. Although the waiters found a table for us quite fast, the service overall was not that remarkable. We were barely able to catch someone to make our order, needed to ask for olive oil, salt, and pepper, as well as had to ask for the bill at least twice - weird given such a turnover. Lunch menu has quite a lot of traditional options, including the regional Milanese dishes. Despite the wide choice, the food was quite bland and oily. Brera is a nice district which seems to offer some other better places for authentic Italian cuisine…

We stumbled upon Rosso Brera after exploring the Duomo and it turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Milan. We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect, great people-watching, a cozy vibe, and just enough shade to relax and enjoy. The hospitality was amazing from start to finish, everyone was kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We ordered the risotto and the ham with ricotta dish. Both were delicious, the risotto was creamy and cooked just right, and the ham and ricotta combo was unexpectedly light and flavorful. If you’re looking for a laid-back yet high-quality spot near the heart of Milan, this is it. Definitely worth a visit!
