We came for dinner as a group of two (with a reservation). For antipasti we had the raw seafood (the mixed platter). Octopus, oysters, mussels (cozza), another type of mussel, scampi and shrimps were on the platter. The oysters were tasty, as were the other two types of mussels. The mussels (cozza) had a little less flavour, but were still good. The scampi were amazing, they are very sweet in flavour, fantastic. So were the shrimps. The octopus was a little too hard for my taste, but with salt, pepper, olive oil and a little lemon juice it was excellent. Cheese wedges were also included, as were nuts. Quite a good combination. For the second course, we had black pasta with seafood and gnocchi with scampi. Both dishes were very good. The portions could have been a little larger. My seafood sauce was so well rounded that I had to order more bread to top it up (scarpetta). Unfortunately no house wine, but an excellent open wine for a glass. Restaurant is recommended.

Whilst the steak was decent (and much nicer than the seafood pastas we tried) what was the point when my partner and I had to eat it standing. We were offered the high table which seemed ok however after 10mins it became uncomfortable so we stood and ate, because half the restaurant was empty we asked if we can move (we wouldnt have asked otherwise), the response was as if we had asked for some kind of royal treatment..what became more frustrating is by the time the evening went on and and upto the point we left the restaurant was still half empty..we were left standing and eating at the front of the restaurant for no reason at all. One of the waiters even got spare seat and chairs out and put a table together that was left empty whilst we were there. This place has really poor management ..if it doesn't care about or prioritise it's non Italian customers that's one thing but to have your paying customers eating standing up whilst there are seats available is utterly despicable. Individually the staff were nice and attentive in other ways..this is why I make it a point to say very poor management. The photo uploaded is at the end of the meal and you can see my partner standing.

Had the mixed fresh seafood, tuna steak and pasta. Went into the restaurant at 730pm, waited until 750pm before my order was taken. The mixed seafood platter came first but the mains were only served at 9pm! Very very slow service. Food was extremely salty. I could hear my tongue screaming for water the moment I ate the fresh seafood. I thought it could just be the seafood platter since it was raw, but the tuna steak was just as salty. Definitely the saltiest meal I've had out for the past few years. Not once throughout the dinner did the waiter came to check back regarding the food or keep you informed about the wait. The only saving grace was the tuna steak was cooked to the correct doneness. Do yourself a favour, skip this pretentious restaurant and if you really desire seafood, walk to the other restaurant away from the port in the middle of the old town.

Amazing place! I arrived here as a solo traveller at 7.30pm and the restaurant was empty so I asked for a table. The waiter said ok but I had to leave by 9pm as they were fully booked for the night. I took the table and I’m so grateful they could fit me in - the service and food were both amazing! I had the Burrata starter with the tastiest jam, a swordfish spaghettoni and a homemade tiramisu. The tiramisu is also gluten free and it was delicious!! The staff (especially the tall man with shaved head) were lovely & very friendly. This meal came to €30 (without alcohol) and I thought it was great value! Make sure to book in advance if you want to eat here, as I think I just got lucky!

Underwhelming considering this is supposed to be the best restaurant in town. Dishes came at a tremendous pace. Quite the opposite of fine dining. The food was fine, but nothing really stood out. And again: the speed of serving was crazy. More like the in-and-out-bar. Two servings per night per table seems the goal. Not being on the list of reservations gave us a false start to begin with. The maître d displayed pure arrogance when we showed him our confirmation of reservation. We were not on his list and therefore not welcome. It took some convincing from our side to get a table, which I now regret doing. The waiters did their utmost to save the night. Nothing than respect to them.

Great food, great price and lovely people! It’s a small conservatory on the outside of the main restaurant with white table cloths, smart crockery and slightly formal style. Despite the (slight) formality the staff were lovely and welcoming to everybody which was lovely for our family night out. I had the spelt flour pasta which was nice for a veggie dish, lots of flavour. Squid ink taglioni with seafood was incredible. Bruschetta sharer (5 pieces) was delicious, huge and great value. Speaking of value, I think the price for the quality of food was absolutely brilliant! Finally the dessert with lemon cream was a hit with my family. Thanks for having us.
