Okay I'll start with the good. The pizza is very good and the prices are more then reasonable. Not much more good to say from our 2h long visit there. We waited over an hour to get our pizza whilst people ordering take away were being served before us. It was loads of people. There was even one italian family that came in sat down, got their food in a matter of minutes and left after about 20 minutes whilst we were still waiting for our food. Funilly two other guest groups who were not italian as us also waited as long as we did for their food. Absolutely horrendous. It felt as if we didn't get any kind of service because we simply were not italian. And on top of that even after being served coincidentally the person of us that complained to them for the long wait had to wait another 15 minutes to get her pizza. What a funny coincidence! Don't give...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this place while on a mission to find the best pizza in Naples, and it ended up being our favorite of the trip. The location is a bit off the beaten path and the storefront is unassuming, but don’t let that fool you. We tried 6 or 7 other places, including well-known spots like Sorbillo and Decumani, but this was the best pizza we had. The sauce is the star of the show, rich and balanced, the dough perfect too: light, not too thick or chewy, and the toppings were well portioned. Beyond the classic margherita, they also offer other great options. Truly a hidden gem! And prices are very reasonable. Seating is limited to a few high tables with barstools, it’s not a cosy sit-down...

We were going to just order two glasses but based on other experiences in Naples a cheap red wine is rarely over 10 or 12 euro. When we went to pay the wine alone was €20. It was our mistake for not asking the price in advance if something’s not listed on the menu but we looked up the bottle and it’s less than €5 to buy in a shop. It’s a shame too because we liked the atmosphere (authentic Neopolitan) the food was good, and the staff seemed nice (especially the young waiter who welcomed us in and took our order). Just stick to beer as most Italians...
