Delightful and unassuming little place near the Funicolare Montesanto. Maria helped us appreciate the flavors of our memorable meal with wise suggestions and graceful wit. We were lucky enough to pair a bottle of Brunello with very simple but incredibly tasty pasta e fagioli, enriched with mussels from the bay. We tasted also the hearty pasta e patate, the penne scarpariello, and the richly flavored Caesar salad. The baba rounded up the meal. Florenzano is a little gem. The kindness and flavors are the memories we treasure.

Worst Italian meal of the city... Sadly we ordered there with deliveroo, after 80 minutes we received this awful piece of food. The meat was almost raw, white dry and without any sauce, the fries were soft, limp and without sauce either. I ordered pasta carbonara, it was a disaster, the sauce was solid, dry and with way too much pepper. Disgusting food, a shame for Italia.

Sono sconvolta dalla vergognosa maleducazione e inciviltà della "signora" che ho avuto la sfortuna di trovare in cassa, di una villaneria che sinceramente non mi è mai capitato di incontrare in un locale pubblico. Mentre nel bel mezzo del servizio, con clienti ad aspettare inizia a contare i soldi della cassa insieme ad un'altra ragazza, in cassa anche lei, ho chiesto se avessero servizi igienici e inizialmente ha fatto finta di non sentirmi, ho fatto nuovamente la domanda e la "signora" ha iniziato un cafonetto teatrino non esente da turpiloquio perché a parer suo l'avevo disturbata da quanto stava facendo, ha continuato a sproloquiare da sola in napoletano aggiungendo frasi del tipo "esci da qua, dietro il vicolo ci sta uno spazio tanto falla là". Uno schifo. Consiglierei a chiunque di stare alla larga da questo posto, che tanto per 50 centesimi in più si trova pizza a portafoglio migliore che abbia più di uno sputo di mozzarella e soprattutto del personale che sappia comportarsi da persone civili.

TLDR: Worst service ever.

I ordered a salad and then a pizza. It took 20mns to get the food the issue was they first gave the pizza and only 15mns after a few complaints the salad. Without any apologies or anything. When they noticed I didn't want a coffee, they directly brought the check and well there was no check. She asked me to pay cash but I did not have enough ( I had to show her because it was "impossible" to pay with the card.) Then she found magically a card reader and asked me to pay a high amount. I then asked her the receipt before paying and that's when I realized in addition to try not to declare the bill, she had added a 22% for the service....

I was told it is a must to have Pizza in Naples. This place proved to me what an original pizza should be!

We have order a traditional pizza which is great! The gentleman sitting on the next table has a fried pizza which I had never heard of. It looked so good that I can't help to ask if I can have a small piece. Wow, it was very delicious and not at all greesy. I will for sure order fried pizza next time.
