Came to this restaurant because it was close to my AirBnb. The place seem to be popping from afar. Turns out the Euro game was going on and Italy was playing Austria. We came to sit down and the waiter told us right away that pizza was not available during the game. He said we could only order from the restaurant menu and not pizza. My boyfriend tried to order the speedy chicken and he very aggressively said not right now. Was super weird but fine. We just went for what we could. We order gnocchi and carbonara spaghetti. The plates we’re actually pretty good. But a few moments later we started seeing a lot of people coming to sit down and ordering pizza. I asked the waiter why were we told we couldn’t order pizza and he said those people were not there for the game that they they didn’t even like the game. We clearly saw the people watching the TV in front of us. Fine we let it go. We asked for the check and he comes over and brings the check but says we can’t use the credit card but only cash. We had just seen him bring the machine over to charge someone else with a card and I told him. As we’re sitting there trying to decide what to do, he says okay I’ll do it for you this time. So he takes my card. Long story short, the reason I’m giving this place a 1 is because of the waiter with the silly haircut. He’s older, almost bald with only a little stand of hair at the top, brushed to the side. Skip this place if you’re a...
Read moreSo poor, chaotic service. Ruined evening.. But from the beginning: 1st waiter was informed that we came for drinks (in Italian language), he let us choose place and sit, we ordered. 2nd waiter appeared to ask what we would like to have, but we confirmed we already told the other waiter. The first waiter brought us drinks. I asked if I they had tiramisu as in menu was information about cake of the day. He answered something, waved hands, I didn't understand, he went away. We were chilling with our beverages and the third waiter, the bald one, started loudly asking us what we want to eat in Italian so my friend explained we wanted just drinks and if they had tiramisu. The waiter said no and came to us angrily, again asking if we would like no food. And rudely started writing on the table that we must pay for beers and forced to pay additionally for too high coperto (well for that service we should be paid, not him). Then he silently stand next to our table even that we didn't finish. We kindly asked if he wanted us to pay immediately, so he impatiently said YEEES. We did pay and run away from that toxic atmosphere. Firstly, they should inform BEFORE, that payment is only in cash. SECONDLY, if customers "only drinking" are not welcome that also should be said before the order....
Read moreThe reason I am giving 1 is all of the things what people who gave 1 star had already written. I wish we had more options to choose from and checked the comments beforehand.
We ordered 4 napoli pizza (quatro napoli pizza) and got 3 at first. Then we had to ask again to get the 4th one. The same thing happened for the coke we ordered.
There were leftover fish in our pizzas, which was not written on the menu but since the waiters don’t speak English you cannot really complain or change it :)
While waiting for our food we had a chance to look at the comments. The Italian lady next to us paid the check by card but when they bring our check, the first thing they said was “no card”. As we already knew this can happen, we just arranged the money we will pay to prevent the rip off. They still asked for a tip and ofc charged 2 euros per person for service which was nonexistent. We just got away with it by giving a few euros.
Overall,...
