Oh boy, here we go.....

Avoid at all costs. This place is a total scam, this has been verified in numerous other reviews and to top it off three staff members physically assaulted me upon my visit last night. Insane!

I just needed a beer, a bathroom and quick break from exploring Napoli. I'm very careful with where I eat in tourist areas, but not so much so when it comes to bathrooms and beers. I ordered just a beer, my Italian is not great so I made my normal gestures said no multiple times to anything else. No menu was even  available, so I wasn't going to bother, just one beer please!

Soon a lady, (the first person to shove me later on), came out with a bottle of water, which I refused. She did not look happy about this, but I didn't order it and didn't want it.

I finished most of my beer, used the bathroom, came back and my unfinished beer had been removed from my table, not a huge deal. Then all of a sudden, some terrible looking food I absolutely did not order, was dropped at my table. I waved my hands no and said I did not order this and the man in white (second to shove me) started hollering about bad English and how it was my fault.

In this instant, this confirmed the brazen, egregious, dishonest tourist trap this sad place is. I'm from New York, I've traveled enough and I think I can smell a grift many kilometers / miles away. This is a confirmed 10/10 scam spot.

The fella kept shouting, I said I'm leaving and then paid a very overpriced 8 euros for my beer and then left.

I had to take a picture of this spot outside, because this was just downright dastardly. When they saw me taking a photo of their location three staff members followed me outside and went Italian ballistic on me, the woman shoved me, I backed up and said don't touch me. The another younger guy came in and also shoved me. Then the owner, the white outfit in the photo followed me around the corner in an attempt to assault me as well. Luckily some lovely pizza guy held him off. Thanks pizza guy, something tells me this isn't the first time you've had to do this.

Literally the most insane experience I've had traveling anywhere. I'm sorry for all the folks who fell for this bullying and outright scamstaurant. This place should be shut down.

These people are obviously scammers and very dishonest. Instead of living an honest restaurant life, as many do in this area, these awful predatory people wake up with the full on intent to willfully and blatantly rip people off day in and day out. Shame on you, sincerely.

Hopefully if you're traveling you have better cell service and check the reviews, had I read the other similar reviews I would not have even bothered micturating in - or on this place.

As I said I am typically fairly discerning when it comes to eating or visiting such places with such a drastic tourist scene. I'm happy to be ripped off and receive pushy service if I need a bathroom and a quick drink, it comes with the whole tourism thing, but to actual push me three times? Yiiiikes. Just quit life. Quit the industry.

You all should feel great shame.

No one should ever EVER go here, unless you want to visit the worst restaurant I've ever been to... or if you think you can take on three angry Italians, that's not my thing though!

At least will be a funny story someday, but for...

Of course the waiter had no menu. He is the menu, he said. Btw: Later he showed us the menu and we kept it. Well, he recommended the fish soup. We decided for the grilled fish. We asked for the price. 7 € per 100 gramm. That's okay. We orderded also a insalata mista. And then the waited. About an hour. The restaurant was not crowded. The fish was big. No salad. We asked for it and get a plate with pure iceberg lettuce. We said, that this is not an insalata mista. The reply was short and in italian (I think that the waiter was able to understand and speak English - but insists of Italian). That is another salad... Well, the fish was okay, in total for two people 75 €. The waiter said before that it will be about 25 € per person. But the fish was okay and it was a big fish. The price of the fish was the one thing. Of course we found "Amalfi" on the check. This was the insalata mista on the menu for 8 €. We told this the waiter, it was in this situation a very old waiter. Immediately he reduced from 88.50 to 80 €. Well, we paid per card. And we didn't mention, that they forgot the wine on the check. Summary: if you are a tourist, they will try to sell you the most expensive things. They lie about the menu. They are friendly at the first sight, but they are not, in fact. I recommend you to read the unpolite answers from the restaurant here on bad reviews. It is incredible. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby. Addition after answer from the owner: Because of the expected rude answer from the owner - the salad at mc donald's is really better then the salad...

Stopped for a bite with my partner after a long day in Naples. Was lured in by the food on another table looking good and a menu which said seafood tourist menu 18pp. Seemed a good deal but the waiter didn’t speak any English (fair enough) and brought us out a small starter platter and then one big platter with pasta, mussels, clams, and a fish. In fairness, the food was good. But when asking for the bill, no receipt was given. Just a price of €75 for food which definitely wasn’t representative of the price + two coca colas.

Wish I’d read reviews beforehand as unfortunately many of them say similar things. Tourist trap, scam, etc.

Wasn’t in the mood to argue after such a long day and just wanting to have a nice dinner for our last night, so just paid the bill and left. However it has left a bitter taste in our mouths and I hope by leaving a review, the next person will be aware of this and not make the same mistake. Always check prices beforehand and agree on it before...

A evitar a toda costa.

DONT GO! There are no soft words to describe the horrendous place to which destiny has taken us. the worst experience in naples, but they already said that the comments online are not read by nadia. We ordered fish soup and espeguites the price says so. The price of the soup is not specified in the menu, but it is clear that it is the excuse to charge you what they want, as you can check on the bi we were 4 people😳. There are also exorbitant Italian prices and foreign prices, the Italian diners (7 ladies of a certain age, you have also attached the bill) allowed us to also take a picture of their ticket. as consumers they can see the polarized opinions of the ratings of this restaurant. It is clear that more 5-star ratings are a hoax of this tratoria to manipulate the reader. our maximum complaint to this restaurant.
