Kebab Al Piramide — Restaurant in Naples

Amazing food!! I needed a quick meal before going to Rome. What a great surprise. I needed lots of meat today as I was not having enough protein from eating too many pizzas, gelatos, Fiocco di neve and limoncello!!

I love how much meat their kebabs had. I like it so much that I ordered one more to go so I can eat them as a breakfast and lunch in Vatican tomorrow.

The food is great Mostly sandwiches, and the gyro is to die for. Owner is Egyptian and speaks limited English, but very helpful and enthusiastic and he seems to know many of the people and children who walk past his small shop. I will be in Naples only for another week, and I will return...

Haben dort ziemlich spät noch etwas zum Essen geholt, Falafel gab es leider nicht mehr, nur noch Hähnchen. Also haben wir zwei Hähnchen-Dürüm bestellt. Draußen auf den Stühlen kann man warten. Nach ca 15 Minuten war dann alles fertig und als wir gegessen haben, waren wir uns einig, dass das der schlechteste Dürüm war, den wir je gegessen haben. Der Dürüm war quasi ein Pfannkuchen und das Hähnchen war geschmacklich komisch und seltsam stückig. Gefüllt war der Dürüm fast nur mit Fleisch, keine Tomaten, Gurken, Kraut, Zwiebeln etc. Die Soße war nicht vorhanden, sondern war irgendwie nur triefendes Fett(?). Alles in allem würden wir hier nie wieder essen. Preislich natürlich unschlagbar, aber selbst das ist es nicht wert. Lieber auf die...
