Best pizza that I have ever had! Naples is known as birthplace of pizza and this pizzeria meets the high bar! The pizza crust was a magnificent presentation of bread. It was moist, with fresh baked texture, not crispy. I ordered the LASAGNA PIZZA which comes with ricotta and meatballs. The sauce was savory delicious, the ricotta cheese was smooth and creamy fresh. The sprigs of Basil were heavenly complements of flavors. The meatballs were good but themselves and were a heavenly addition to the pizza. I was full after eating half the pizza, but couldn't let this delicacy go to waste. It could easily be shared with two. The atmosphere is loud and cozy. It is not fancy but they don't need any glamour because the pizza is the centerpiece of the experience. They also offer GLUTEN FREE pizza crust for those like my daughter. It was really good and I would not have been able to tell you it was gluten free....however my gluten pizza crust was even better. They have a modest wine list, nothing extensive, but enough selection to meet your taste. I highly recommend coming here to get your Napoli pizza pie!

My husband requests very little during our travels but one request, which could not be denied, was the quest for the best pizza in Naples. In my pre-trip query I scoured reviews of many original and traditional pizzas—where locals would prefer to eat as well. Pizzeria Anthony Sorbillo rose to the top. As it opens at 12:00 pm we arrived to queue up @ 15 minutes prior to opening. Luckily; we were seated upstairs and promptly. Service was very cordial and prompt. The pizzas arrived looking more delicious than any pizza we’ve previously enjoyed. Knife and fork at the ready; we began to enjoy a super traditional, very fresh, very tasty Margherita Pizza. No disappointment arose from our group of four. The crust was tender, with a slight char, the sauce was fresh and bright and the mozzarella and basil were not overpowering nor slight; just right. Definitely worth the walk to and from our cruise ship in the harbor and the brief wait in queue.

Fantastic spot for Neapolitan pizza! If you’re stuck waiting in an insanely long line for Gino Sorbillo next door, maybe consider this under appreciated neighbor instead. With a solid selection of pizzas on the menu, as well as great non alcoholic (and alcoholic options), Antonio Sorbillo might be a better value, all things considered. We visited here twice, and I ordered the pizza marinara both times, adding fried eggplant the second time. The marinara here is vegan by default (no grated parmesan/anything on top). My partner ordered one of the vegetarian pizzas with eggplant both times. The dough isn’t quite as perfect and pliable as Gino next door, but the pizzas are just as delicious. They have a nice selection of not-too-sweet sodas that are worth trying (we tried the bitter orange, the blood orange,= and the chinotto). Very reasonably priced and minimal wait times even during the lunch rush hour. Definitely worth a visit!

You’re probably looking for Gino’s next door. It should have a blue logo, not a red one. We fell into this “Sorbillo” trap, wasting our last meal in Naples, gutted to be missing out on the world famous pizza served next door. To be fair, the pizza at Antonio’s was actually not bad, though significantly more expensive than Gino’s, or other good Neapolitan pizzerias. It’s tourist trap pricing, and that’s fine, in fact I respect the hustle. However, where I draw the line is the stolen valour. The deception is absolutely shameless - going so far as to even copying the real Sorbillo’s “dal 1935”, and hilariously placing a lifesized cutout of Gino Sorbillo pretty much right outside their restaurant. They’ll deny all this, feigning ignorance and being defensive, like they’ve responded to other similar reviews, but go take a look at their set up after you go eat at the real Sorbillo’s, they know exactly what they’re doing.

tldr. Pizza was fine, but don’t support their dishonest behaviour

edit in response to reply nice, bravo on blaming the customer, not surprising given the above. For the record, most people aren’t going to ask whether they’re in the right place because, luckily for us, your copycat...

SCAM SCAM SCAM. Please do yourselves a favour and avoid this place.

First the owner pretends they are the famous Gino E Sorbillo next door and persuades you to enter. Next they recommend you the most expensive pizza on menu and in Naples €15. The famous place next door is half this price.

If you tag yourself on Facebook they give you a free drink. This is true but they bring you a cake without telling you it's €8.

The owner should be ashamed of himself. Tricking tourists to make an extra €10. Shame on you for wasting a tourist's evening when they are only staying for 7 days.

Finally when you pay with card it appears as the famous pizza place Gino E Sorbillo. This is a huge scam and place needs to be shut down.

Response to Owner's lies in reply. Please tell me which part is untrue? There are many people in the reviews saying you are a scam. We should all go for therapy together.....and you should go to a cooking class 👩‍🍳

You can't counter my arguments because you know every word I said is true. Instead of apologizing and listening to improve your business you have taken the easy option to copy the famous place next door. Get out of the food business it's...
