Visiting Storica Salumeria Zinzi, established in 1938, was a true culinary adventure. This viral sandwich shop specializes in fresh Dalmatian ham and buffalo cheese, and I was immediately drawn in by the mouthwatering aromas of cured meats. They cut fresh slices of salami right in front of me, showcasing their commitment to authenticity. I decided to add sundried tomato puree to my sandwich, enhancing the flavors beautifully. Delicious sandwiches, top quality mozarella, great bread and meat. The sandwiches are huge (we ordered one, cut in a half and it was enough for me and my wife). The more dry ingredients are accompanied by a generous amunt of mozarella and/or antipasti, pesto - this was a pleasant surprise after trying sandwiches that that were too dry to eat without something to drink (but Zinzi has good wines, too). The word "sandwich" seems a bit out of place here, because you can find dramatically worse sandwiches than those from Zinzi. Zinzi is not cheap, but they offer a top quality product and whoever invests at least a bit of energy into reading or asking, should not be surprised by the prices. Absolutely...

Got a mozzarella and pesto sandwich from here which was good and had a very large portion although perhaps slightly too much pesto. (We shared between 2 as we were not very hungry but ended up being both full).

We know we're tourists but it did feel that because there were no prices outside the total may depend on how much they feel they can charm you and charge you. We paid €10 but know it could definitely have been less...considering our sandwich didn't contain meat upon request.
