The worst experience we have ever had! Not only in Naples, but in Europe in general. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the waiter who served us uttered indistinct phrases in our address, which made the surrounding Italian-speaking people laugh. Racism?! And generating tips with low-level humor? Very low level. I will not add that the service, the taste of the food and the evening in general turned out to be terrible. Even the elderly couple sitting next to us were amazed at the attitude of the waiter using the young guests to create the ambiance?! Shame and shame again !!

Without further ado, my friend didn't finish eating when he just emptied his plate, and the only thing he kept repeating from the second he asked for the bill was that the tip was not included and should be left as cash. When I asked him to split the bill, I emphasized that we are two student tourists, he didn't even ask me to pay the whole amount, and when I asked why he didn't split the bill, he aggressively and nervously started shouting that he couldn't split the bill, I'm not talking about 5 or 10 euros, I'm talking about dinner money for two people. , with two meals and alcohol. This is the first time I am writing a bad comment on a place that should be the most touristic and prestigious.

Service is not determined by origin and how expensive the wine is on the table. With love, Nino from Georgia and...

This is the second time I have been there. The first time I went (about one year ago) there the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the second time (few days ago) was very disappointing. We first received a set of appetizers as it is customary nowadays. It became quickly apparent that some of the items had a strong bad-fish smell. We could quickly identify the shrimp as the rotten source. The waiter apologized and blamed one of his colleagues for not checking it. However, I believe that the smell was sufficiently powerful that it should have being identified by the waiter. Hopefully it was not an impudent attempt to serve us perishable food that was ready to be discarded. Unfortunately, our experience did not get better for any of us. I will just limit myself to my own dish. I ordered a combination of grilled tuna, swordfish and squid. The tuna was rare as I wanted but it was somewhat salty. This covered any other flavor I wanted to appreciate. The swordfish was very dry. This indicates a badly frozen piece of meat that lost all water during thawing. The squid was pasty/slimy instead of being firm. The bottom line is that the main course was also poor and sadly this is not a restaurant I can recommend. The area has great seafood so I feel like the management folk of the restaurant perceives that their customers are not sufficiently educated to assess...

CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE! We went to this place based on the decoration and the good location next to the castle (we didn’t see the reviews until sit in a table, big mistake). However the experience was terrible. We ordered a pizza and a regular salad. After finishing the salad we started to have a stomachache. As a quick note, we noticed something strange during the night since the waitress were talking between them really fast to avoid us understand anything in italian and continuously pointing out to our table Due to the stomach ache we asked for the bill to pay asap and come back to our hotel. The waitress said it will take 3 minutes. It passed around 15 minutes and they didn’t bring the bill, we tried to asked other waitress but they avoid looking at us or any other table. After we could catch another waitress we asked for the bill again. We wait another 15 minutes until finally we asked the first waiter for the bill again. He insisted several times that the tips has to be only in cash (he repeated it several times). The behavior of the waiter when we told him that we have only card and we wanted to give the tip by card changed radically. We felt super unsafe having dinner there, the service was terrible. Please make sure you check the reviews of the restaurant first, we also notice a lot of problems after eating the food...

We usually go to Transatlantico in this location, but it was closed. Thanks to this we now have two favorite restaurants in Santa Lucia!! We had the parmigiana fredda di melanzane and a seafood salad for appetizers, a bottle of DOCG Greco di Tufo to drink, and a fresh huge dorada (a 900g catch of the day that we first chose on a platter) to share, done in a Neapolitan way, with tomatoes and bread. All the seafood and vegetables were fresh, and the dorada was one of the best fish we ever had, and we are quite picky about it. Afterwards, we were literally full, so instead of a dessert, we had two glasses of limoncello to finish off, and the liqueur was delicious as well. For all of that (water, wine, two appetizers, full fish to share, and the limoncellos plus the cover charge) we paid 129 euro, which is a lot, but not much more than somewhere else and you need to count in a "fee" for the location with the view and the very pleasant breeze. Salvatore was an extremely helpful and polite waiter. They were very hospitable and welcomed us with our baby daughter, got us a table with a stunning beautiful view. We would like to come back.

We made a reservation for the same day, they were very accommodating. I appreciated it. The food was pretty good, there was some confusion when ordering - we had two different menus. The views from our dinner table were nice at night. We sat at the lower level, I hear there is an upper level as well. I had the burrata and tomatoes for appetizer and ate the entire portion. We ordered both red and white wines. The red wine came out very warm, not sure why, but it took some time to get used to the taste. For dinner I had tuna and it was very good. The service was very fast, for our large group I would say this was the fastest we ate dinner the entire time we stayed in Italy !! During our meal we had the pleasure of having a private guitarist sing local Naples songs. He was actually very good and engaged us all. At the end of our meal they not only provided the traditional limoncello shoots, but also a free pen (don’t ask, because I don’t know). Overall I recommend this place, even though I rated this as 4 stars.

Rotten, fish, and disgusting facilities. Await you at this restaurant. This is possibly the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant. Avoid it at all cost. There are so many better choices for restaurants in Naples. The dishes did not come as described and were completely inedible. It is hard to believe given this restaurants location that you can be served such rancid, seafood dishes. Not a single one was edible, between the seafood appetizer, and the steak entrées. I went to the bathroom to try to flush some of the rotten food down the toilet, to avoid offending the staff, only to realize that the bathroom was completely unusable, and no way to flush the toilet as you can see from the picture. All around disgusting, and should be avoided all costs.
