I had the pleasure of dining at Antica Trattoria da Pietro on the pier in Naples, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.

The seafood could not have been fresher — we started with a delicate octopus salad, followed by mussels and clams soutè that were full of flavor from the sea. The highlight for me was the pasta with mini octopus, perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced. To accompany the meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Falanghina wine, crisp and aromatic, which paired wonderfully with the dishes.

Beyond the food, the service made the afternoon even more special. The staff were warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable about what they were serving, which made us feel both welcomed and cared for.

With its authentic atmosphere right on the pier and the passion the team brings to their work, this restaurant captures the true spirit of Naples. A place I would return to in a heartbeat, and highly recommend to anyone...

What a delightful dining experience!! I was so glad to find this family Restaurant with open tables, a beautiful view, and wonderful welcoming service :) I do not speak Italian well at all, even when I can understand some- so it was such a delight to be welcomed with a smile & served so well! They even welcomed me with a wonderful dish of pulpo! Something I love and don’t get to enjoy as much as I would like. Next i enjoyed the wonderful ensalade del Mare, the seafood salad, and then the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, with the house white &. Red wine to complement beautifully! What a delightful dining experience, with perfect ambiance and warmth. Then, to my surprise, they also gave me a delicious dessert of strawberries & An appertif! I highly recommend dining at this lovely restaurant, they will not disappoint!

Ci sono luoghi in cui il mare non si guarda soltanto: si respira, si ascolta, si assapora. E poi ci sono tavole speciali, dove ogni piatto diventa racconto, ogni sapore un’emozione, ogni gesto una carezza. In uno di questi luoghi, in un borgo marinaio sospeso tra realtà e poesia, ho vissuto una serata che è andata ben oltre il semplice mangiare. Un rituale di sapori e poesia marina. Un percorso culinario che accarezza i sensi. Uno chef straordinario, capace di trasformare il mare in emozione. Incastonata nel cuore del Borgo Marinari di Napoli, Trattoria da Pietro è un luogo in cui il tempo rallenta, e il gusto prende voce. Lo chef Pietro, con la sua passione silenziosa e la sua maestria autentica, riesce a raccontare il mare in ogni piatto. E a fartelo sentire addosso, come una brezza leggera che resta. Ho iniziato con un sauté di vongole e cozze straordinario, un’apertura che sapeva di onde e sole. Subito dopo, una pepata di cozze profumata e decisa, perfettamente bilanciata. E poi lui, il protagonista: un polpo arrostito semplicemente perfetto. Morbidissimo dentro, croccante al punto giusto fuori, con quel sapore pieno e pulito che resta in bocca come un ricordo felice. Il polpo più buono che avessimo mai mangiato. Il piatto principale è stato un incanto: spaghetti con una crema di vongole e vongole veraci, un connubio perfetto tra la delicatezza e la forza salina del mare. La crema era vellutata, profonda, sussurrata — come una marea che accarezza la riva senza mai forzarla. Ogni forchettata era un ritorno, un ricordo, una piccola vertigine. Ma oltre il piatto, c’è stato il luogo. Un posto magico, dove l’anima si rilassa e il palato si innamora. Qui non si mangia soltanto: si celebra il mare, si ascolta la sua voce, si ringrazia la sua generosità. Trattoria da Pietro è un ristorante che merita non solo stelle, ma silenzi pieni, sguardi felici e ritorni promessi. Consigliato a chi ama la cucina vera, quella che non ostenta, ma racconta.
