We arrived really early in the morning after a very long trip. Fortunaltely we were greated by Guisippe who was the top highlight of my stay in the hotel. Yes as mentioned in some of the reviews (dont know if reference was to him or another but i only dealt with him). He was very profesdional and above all, kind which matters to me the most. He offered us drinks and was trying to help as much as possible and we both used google translate!.also from reviews i guess the hotel owns more than one apartment as we stayed in the third floor. Didnt need to pay for the lift. The set of 5 keys were quite easy to use so no hasstle there. There was also an emergency whatassp contact number if you need anything after hours. Which leads me to the issue of available staff from 8 to 2 pm. Only. The location was great for us. Very close to san carlo theatre, shopping street..etc Yes limited access by car but only a couple of minutes away from car park n taxi stops. We booked a taxi with hotel for airport pickup and he was there to great us and help us with our luggage to the hotel's reception. The room is fine though didnt think much of the bed. Fridge only big enough for waterbottels. Speakers for tv were way too low(yes i like to chill in some days). Shower was great n you can listen to radio as well. Breakfast was rather disappointing and above that you beed to pay for fresh juice or eggs. The hotel is quite indoors & outdoors really. Didnt suffer from anything other the normal sounds of a city. I wouldnt have minded if the price was lower but i thought we paid more than got what we got. I did expect more so rather disappointing in this sense. The b&b has lots of plus points but its a matter of balance &...
Read moreWe were very happy with our stay at Skyhouse Chiatamone. Very central, with very clean and modern rooms. We also liked the very high ceiling and the fact that we didn’t hear any of the other tenants, even though our room was next to the breakfast room. |Parking is always a challenge in Naples, here we had a parking house just over the street. Fair enough it was scary how narrow the entrance was, but it all worked out. Even the price was a lot more ok than just a few meter further down the road. 25€ vs 40€ for a day. |The only negative thing was that the owner forgot to send the code to use inside the building. |Breakfast was included. Nothing wow, but quite ok - though much...
Read moreThis is a nice little B&B in a lovely part of Naples. I think there are only 3 or 4 rooms available. The rooms are modern and light. It was a bit of a tight squeeze with 4 beds in the room. The breakfast was lovely. I would have preferred fresh bread/rolls. There is a slight downside - apparently you are only allowed 80litres of hot water a day and that really doesn't work well when more than 2 of you want a shower, each one of us had a cold shower at some point. I think tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be an option, because the breakfast room area is locked until opening...
