Social Pizza (Chiaia) — Restaurant in Naples

Lovely place for a stop … BUT KEEP WALKING and find somewhere else! You will find better food, cheaper drink and a staff that actually want your business and to keep your business - this was the worst food and service I’ve had for a long time in any country.

staff avoided the table for 30 minutes in the middle of the outside area , knowing we weren’t happy, and reluctant to approach the table, as they proceeded to wait on every other table effectively!

When the manager was made aware, she was incredibly rude , arrogant and wouldn’t accept the pizza was soggy and soft , claiming it’s how the locals eat it … as if we haven’t had pizza before! And wouldn’t even entertain the complaint. And even had the arrogance to point and talk about the situation 10 feet away, with her colleagues as if we didn’t understand Italian!

The staff continued to ignore the table for 15 minutes before we got to pay - that wasn’t simple either!

Terrible service, rude waiters, expensive drinks, avoid! There are hundreds of nice places around the area. This was a first in Naples. We ordered drinks, they never arrived, we had to tell the waiters about them and finally got them after more than 30 minutes. At the end, we were charged for double the drinks, told the waiters about the mistake, they kept doubting that the drinks never arrived, took 10 minutes to convince them and get the issue fixed. Because of the whole situation, we didn’t want to pay the service charge, the waiter, visibly angry, agreed, but silently added the 12%...

The portion is like a joke. For €14 you got a cold plate of food with 20gr of rice and 6 slice of cold vegetables. The waiter is screaming and shouting into your face, if you are asking that what is it and why so small? Even, if you asked about it, before your order. She will call the police, if you want to reject the cold small amount of food, then coursing and goes away. Highly not recommended. 1* is only for that reason because this is the minimum. This...
