Trattoria piazzetta Sant’anna — Restaurant in Naples

Our visit to this restaurant was the worst experience of our trip. We were looking for a nice place to end the evening and were persuaded to come to this trattoria by the waiter on the street. Already after a short time we felt very uncomfortable, because the owner shouted uninterruptedly orders to his waiters. Unbelievable how some people deal with their employees. The food itself wasn't very good either. The nasty surprise came when we wanted to pay and were charged for dishes we had not ordered. When we did not want to pay them, the owner himself approached us and began to discuss with us. Since it was already late and no more guests were present, we felt very uncomfortable and threatened. What a terrible experience, what a crazy owner. What a pity that we landed there. There are so many friendly people and great restaurants in Naples - this is definitely not one of them!

VORSICHT, TOURISTENFALLE!

Unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant war die schlechteste Erfahrung während unserer Reise. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem schönen Ort, um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen, und ließen uns von dem Kellner, der uns auf der Straße ansprach, überreden in diese Trattoria zu kommen. Schon nach kurzer Zeit fühlten wir uns sehr unwohl, da der Besitzer ununterbrochen Befehle an seine Kellner schrie. Unglaublich wie manche Menschen mit ihren Angestellten umgehen. Das Essen selbst war ebenfalls nicht besonders gut. Die böse Überraschung kam dann als wir zahlen wollten und uns Gerichte berechnet wurden, die wir nicht bestellt hatten. Als wir diese nicht zahlen wollten, kam der Eigentümer selbst auf uns zu und fing an mit uns zu diskutieren. Da es schon spät war und keine weiteren Gäste mehr anwesend waren, fühlten wir uns sehr unwohl und bedroht. Was für eine furchtbare Erfahrung, was für ein verrückter Besitzer. Wie schade, dass wir dort landeten. Es gibt in Neapel so viele freundliche Menschen und großartige Restaurants - dieses gehört...

We were.searching for a place and we.saw that nice casual restaurant and we decided to give it a try. Never felt so stupid before.

We were trying to order for 30 minutes and the owner was just dancing. When he finally came to our table we asked him if he had risotto as my girlfriend had stomach problems and he gave us another daily catalogue in ITALIAN (like we supposed to know italian) and left the table without even answering our questions about the food while he was having fun with other italian customers. We'd decided our plates (rigatoni with sauce and carbonara) and we were raising hands for 20 minutes until the italian customers called them to come to our table to finally order and that took like 10 minutes because we were talking to him and wasnt even paying attention to us. We finally ordered the plates 2 cokes and 1 sparkling water.

They served us the water and the cokes first and the water wasnt even sparkling. We also asked for an ashtray and brought us 1 that was spoiled with some sweet and marks.from other cigarrettes. Hygiene at its finest. Either way a lot of waiting our dishes arrived and surprise surprise the rigatoni had more sauce than rigatoni(stomach problems right??). The carbonara also had rare cooked pork, which is totally dangerous for bacteria.

When we ask them for the bill (3 times), after some italian customers ,again, called them for us we found out the we were also charged more money but we payed them just to get the hell out of this place.

I guess if you are not Italian this place is not for you. Worst customer service and the food below average. Maybe its because we live in greece and the customer service it totally different....

Be very careful with this place as we got scammed there. Visited with my friend each of us ordered a main dish and also ordered some bruschetta (3.50 EUR) as an appetizer to share. Pointing out that the waiter spoke pretty good English and also repeated our order. After just a few minutes our bruschetta arrived and it was served with 2 balls of mozzarella cheese and also with some salad. It really looked and tasted amazing. Then our main food came and it was also very good. We were so full and pretty happy after we ate. We asked for the bill and paid but then we realized that the price was way too high. Our bill was supposed to be around 30 EUR but we paid around 50 EUR. Then we checked the receipt and saw that they are charging us for the 2 balls of mozzarella, salad and one extra bruschetta. Went to talk to the waiter and also the owner to complaint that we have never ordered the mozzarella and the salad and the bruschetta. The owner was very unpleasant and told us that we have already ate the food so we have to pay. We were telling him that we thought that it all was a part of the bruschetta we have ordered. We have never ordered any mozzarella balls or any salad but in the end they refused to talk to us anymore. Be very careful what you order there and what you get! The food is really nice but overall experience is one big disappointment. EDIT: The business just saw my review and replied that we were offered the mozzarella and the salad and that we agreed to get it. That is absolutely not true! Nobody offered us those and we were given those without the consent thinking that this was a part of our starter meal. This is so unprofessional and I am very...
