Trattoria Pignasecca — Restaurant in Naples

Food was rather ok (but too much salted for me) but the service was awful. The waiter Antonio was so slow! Also he forgot about our antipasti and didn't bring it but insisted we have to pay for the mozarella we ordered. He speaks a very bad English so it was quite hard to argue with him. Fortunately it were people seating close to us who helped with translation into Italian to precise the righ amount to pay. I hope it was the last time we were in...

The food is good but nothing special. The worst part is the service, you wait more than 40minutes to be served while the place is quite small but best is, as a foreigner you are served after the locals and their menu concept is a joke as you end up paying same as a la carte. When you try to understand how they do the maths, you get an unfriendly answer and the receipt is thrown back at you without a thank you!...

Premetto che sono di Napoli ma vivo al nord. Abbiamo voluto dare fiducia alla trattoria nonostante la location decisamente rustica... Guardiamo il menù e vediamo prezzi ben al di sopra del tenore della trattoria ma continuano a dare fiducia...cominciamo con antipasto fritto napoletano (tranne le montanare il resto tutto industriale). Poi ordiniamo due primi decisamente al di sotto delle aspettative, ma il pezzo forte è stata la parmigiana che sapeva solo di bruciato (dopo tante aspettative di una bella parmigiana a Napoli). Il cameriere la porta via intatta e la risposta della cucina è stata che dipende dalle bucce che sono nere!!! Chiediamo il conto profondamente delusi e domando se mi sconta la parmigiana... risultato: il cameriere mi strizza l'occhio e mi toglie 2 euro dal totale. Pago e andiamo via,. pentiti di aver dato fiducia a chi speravamo la meritasse. Vorrei precisare ai gestori che fare pagare un piatto immangiabile è una vergogna in ogni caso ma qui è anche un'offesa al rispetto che merita la gente e la cultura di Napoli, la mia bella Napoli!!! Sconsiglio lo stesso errore ad altri! A Napoli, a questi prezzi si mangia decisamente meglio in molti...
