This place appears to be a tourist ripoff. My wife and I went in to get a porchetta and cheese sandwich. We wanted to split one because we weren't all that hungry. Our server was rude. When we asked to get one sandwich, she said that was impossible. When my wife said we want porchetta, the woman said for two and ran off and then brought us two sandwiches which were just ham on bread. We had wanted to get cheese and some onions and perhaps dried tomatoes, but we're not giving the opportunity. Consequently, we were forced to buy two sandwiches we didn't want and were not giving the opportunity to explain what we did want. If I had been thinking, we would have just walked out before we ordered and I would have come back in and bought one sandwich and we would have split it outside. Once I finally was able to sit I did receive good service and the food came out quickly. I just wish I wasn’t initially turned away because “you are only one and this...
Read moreA lot of great things going for this place. Prime location directly under the Torre with a lot of fun activity going on. A very unique menu with a lot of meat & truffle dishes, and very friendly staff. We couldn't resist the outdoor seating on the street and thankfully they had a table for us. Our server helped us find dishes that worked for everyone. With all of the meat, they suggested the Tagliatella con Tartufo Fresco and it was crazy how much of the truffle they shaved onto the pasta and the smell was amazing. The tagliatelli was almost completely hidden! Everyone really enjoyed their meals, our wine was helpfully suggested by the owner to be local and compliment our dishes, and then we had really good dessert. Definitely a must-try for...
