Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Otivm Lunch Cafe' — Restaurant in Padua

Great service. The waiters would give up their whole life just so you could order. For comparison in my country (Slovakia) let's say you are not sure what you would get in a restaurant and you ask them a question regarding the menu thats written on a sign in front of the restaurant. The response from the waiter would be something along the lines of "I don't have time for this, we have it written on the sign pointing at the sign" while here in Italy and especially in this restaurant they literally brought the sign to me so I could see the menu better. And it's not just that. They are very polite, understand English very well and also have menu's in like 5 languages. German, British, Espanol, and some others I don't quite recall.

The food was amazing! Great price for what you get. I would even say that it's one of the cheaper ones. But don't let that fool you. The food is truly mouth-watering.

We've been here two times, and both of the times, it was a pleasure experience. The staff even asked us if we were enjoying our trip and told us to enjoy Italy. Also, I forgot to mention that here you don't pay the standard price for the table, silverware, and glasses. I don't recall how it is called in Italian, but I think it was something along the lines...

We avoid writing critical reviews for restaurants in general, considering how tough this profession is and we worked in restaurants ourselves for years. However, this is more of an encouragement for the manager to improve and to focus on quality instead.

We ordered sweet potatoes fries and they came with a mix of some previously fried ones (which were cold). Question mark about how the chef keeps the kitchen clean and tidy as leftover or "old" food must not be served. Then the caesar salad was served with a sauce that was different from the one described on the menu, it tasted (according to us) more of mayonnaise mixed with something else but no caesar dressing as described.

Since the waitress at the end of the meal asked if everything went well, we explained the two points above. Instead of acknowledging the feedback, the waitress explained that this is how they prepare fries and that the dressing used for the salad is a yogurt dressing as how they prepare it (still not a caesar dressing as written on the menu).

We don't want to imagine the level of hygiene and passion the chef puts in his kitchen but for sure, we will not come back! And hopefully this comment will serve as a...

A wonderful bar/restaurant. We stopped for a quick bite to eat and ended up spending the entire afternoon there watching the Rugby. The food and beer was great and the atmosphere is so so friendly. If I lived in Padova I would be here all the time.

Back in Padova for another concert so back to my favourite bar. A few drinks yesterday and lunch today...just as good as last time. However, the star of the show is this young lady, she is exceptional. Always happy, always smiling, always busy, she is a credit to the restaurant. She is the sort of person any business would want to employ. Great work and thanks for another wonderful...
