Ristorante Vecchia Padova — Restaurant in Padua

I actually really liked this restaurant, I have taken everyone who has visited me in Padova to Vecchia. However, on my last visit (with my father) the staff (always the same two) were so unfriendly, ignoring us, not taking our order, really going out of their way to avoid us, I was so disappointed because I was there three days before and it was fine. I actually got annoyed in the end because they were ignoring us I couldn't get anyone's attention to get the bill, so I had to sit there getting more and more annoyed 😂 I won't go back, Padova had plenty of good and friendly restaurants more deserving...

Ho dato una stella perché non si poteva di meno. Vi racconto la mia esperienza. Con un mia moglie cerchiamo un ristorante dove cenare. Guardiamo da fuori ci sembra buono ed entriamo. Una cameriera come ingresso ci dice sedete dove volete ( molto professionale ) . Appena mi siedo chiedo acqua fresca subito e li il primo " incidente" : " ma veramente vuole due litri d'acqua fresca?" Naturalmente il subito vuol dire 10 minuti. Arriva finalmente il momento di ordinare . Classica domanda : " ha un consiglio sulle specialità della casa?" Alle 21 a chi vuole come prima cosa acqua fresca proporre pasta condita con ragù d'anatra non mi sembra il massimo. Chiediamo altro : tagliolini cons e fiori di zuccamia moglie e io gnocchicon speck e zafferano. Poi vogliamo aggiungere un antipasto ( la cameriera deve aver avuto una brutta giornata ) strappa il foglio d'ordine : " non si fa così , avete stravolto tutto mi chiedete un consiglio e poi stravolgete tutto" Arriva l' ordinazione un piatto di gnocchi condito con gamberetti con un odore fortissimo di marcio che rimando indietro e mi viene portato quello che avevo ordinato. ( Un piatto di pessima qualità e condito malissimo ) . Mia moglie ( molto più educata di me) tenta di mangiare una pasta condita con gamberetti ( cheavrebbero dovuto essere buttati 15 giorni prima ma )la puzza è tale che non è possibile. Chiedo il conto e il quel momento la cameriera realizza che un piatto non era stato toccato. Ammette la "puzza di marcio" e cancella dal conto il piatto non consumato. Il pesce non porta bene al ristorante; tavolo accanto al nostro un altro cliente si lamentava dell' odore del pesce alla griglia. Lasciate perdere.... Trovate un altro ristorante a Padova, certamente c'è ne...

this is a beautiful place with delicious food, but with poor service... Today me and my friend had a lunch (everything was tasty) and afterwards we had "un caffe" (btw it costs 2 euro that is the highest I've paid for espresso in Italy). When we went to the cash desk to pay, she (my friend) paid first, then me and a cashier, young woman told us in a very rude and unpolite manner, with unpleasant, offensive intonation : "'couldn't you do it together?!".
