Billy's Food — Restaurant in Palermo

I’m 100% American, previously worked in the US at burger restaurants and have some pointers for this place to make it actually American.

Change up your onion rings. They were def prepackaged frozen and bought in bulk. If you make shoestring style or the super thick kind, battered and prep’d on site, it would be much much better. Also no American eats them with a wooden fork pick thing. The cheese burger is a waste of space. Add a classic burger no cheese then the leave billy burger. Both should come with LTOK. Obviously. The burger itself has no flavor, no char, no pizazz. It needs some salt and some cooked flavor from the grill. Though they made the right choice in using fresh cut fries with skins still on, the oil wasn’t hot enough so they were both brown and soggy. Needed salt- can’t not salt fried stuff. Can’t not. Unlike most Americans I ordered it med-well, it came med-rare. Surprising bc it’s not very easy to get meat undercooked in EU.

Also how you gonna give free lollipops and not make them Blow Pops or Tootsie Roll Pops? It’s American food. Don’t you dare put a Chupa Chips in my face.

Il ristorante di per sé, serve ottimi prodotti, la qualità dei piatti è elevata rispetto ad altre scelte e la stravagante quanto ludica idea di poter disegnare sulle tovaglie con i pastelli forniti dal ristorante stesso attira molti clienti; se non bastasse alla cassa, al termine del pagamento del conto è possibile prendere qualche leccalecca offerto dalla casa. Tuttavia al di là di questi aspetti particolarmente intriganti si celano numerose pecche, posto a parte spetta al servizio, ma andiamo per gradi. Di base la qualità dei piatti e del servizio è di buona fattura, tuttavia è nel momento in cui ti rechi al ristorante durante i giorni di movida o in piena estate che tutto il castello si sgretola. Si possono assistere a serate nelle quali i camerieri vagano per i tavoli saltando da una lamentela all'altra per i prodotti serviti al tavolo sbagliato o con standard di qualità insufficienti rispetto non solo all'attesa che potrebbe arrivare anche a 40 minuti ma persino del locale stesso. Rimane che recandosi presso il ristorante in giornate più tranquille la qualità dei prodotti nonché la varietà è assicurata. ATTENTI AL CONTO, altra nota dolente, per certi versi anche troppo alta per alcuni prodotti.

Passando ai voti: Location 7,5 belli sia gli interni ornati con le migliori opere fatte dagli stessi clienti con le tovaglie e i pastelli, che l'esterno che pur dando sulla strada ti permette di poterti gustare un piatto godendo di una gradevole vista mare. Menù 8,5 la qualità come già detto è buona, nelle serate no però, è possibile assistere ad un drastico calo di qualità e attenzione verso il cliente. Servizio 7,5 il voto rispecchia quanto già detto per il voto dato al menù Conto 7,5 , vi ho già avvertiti.
