Felice (Ristorante Cinese) — Restaurant in Palermo

Anyone expecting international cuisine in this international city of Palermo will be sorely disappointed. There is virtually none at all. I don't include the (Indian) fast food takeaways in Via Maqueda, where food is heated in the microwave.

If you fancy Chinese food, you can go to FELICE. This Chinese restaurant is like many European cities that don't enjoy a China Town neighbourhood like Paris, London, NYC, San Francisco and elsewhere. There (China Town) you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine (which is always sensationally varied and really great).

FELICE is a normal Chinese restaurant. Adapted to European tastes. Good and reasonably priced. There are even cloth napkins!

I bring my own sambal oelek & chili. As the Palermitani fear spices like the devil, there is nothing 🌶spicy on the table.

Friendly and uncomplicated. Highly recommended.

What a great restaurant! Absolutely delicious food, very nice facility with cloth tablecloths and napkins, very good service and jaw-droppingly low prices! My pan-frief dumplings were absolutely the best I've ever had, crisped by the pan frying but soft and fresh tasting. The Seafood Noodles were delicious, with a lovely aroma of fresh seafood and perfectly cooked noodles. The battered and fried duck was delicious, with the rich duck flavour coming through. Finally, the Sweet & Sour Chicken was recommended by the waiter and didn't disappoint. Firm fried chicken morsels served with pineapple and a not-too-sweet sauce. And the fried bananas for dolce, what could there be to complain about! Perfect 4-course lunch sized portions of each dish made the dining very pleasant. This is a go-to...

Dinner here with my wife. I’m Chinese; she’s Korean. We needed some comfort food after 2 weeks in Sicily and 2 weeks in Greece. Staying nearby and came here because of favorable reviews.

Tried 5 dishes. Was very happy with all 5! Dishes small but inexpensive so two people are able to enjoy a wide variety of foods. Especially happy with the shrimp and egg (Italian style but well seasoned and quality ingredients). Also liked the fried dumplings and the pork with bamboo and mushrooms.

I’m from the US - Los Angeles area and consider myself a connoisseur of “comfort style” Chinese food. This place is a gem in Palermo. Highly recommend - not for a fancy dining experience but for quality dishes at very reasonable prices
