There is no possibility to rate 0 stars otherwise 1 star is too much. We booked with gnv to Tunis on July 1st but our trip was rescheduled to next day, notification sent 3days before, we had to book one additional night at the hotel Check-in planned to start at 5am, until 6:30 waiting outside the port with our baby without any organization from the personnel. No place inside where to park the car, we had to leave the car in a random place and we had to stay in a line like animals outside without protection from the sun, no toilets nothing. Personnel of the port especially one woman wearing glasses behaving impolitely with passengers. Conditions were inhuman. No respect at all for old people or families with kids. After penible 2 hours checkin, misleading indications in which line to stay with the car for boarding. We finally did the boarding with over 2hours delay. Ship full of cars because they merged two trips Genoa-Tunis and Palermo-Tunis in the same. What a respectable company can do that to its customers? Keep your expectations very low when traveling from Palermo port and with gnv these days. Prepare yourself to the...

Very crowded. Must purchase tge back and forth ticket if you plan to comeback. The lines maybe very long. Theres some people who think they are entitled to cut in into the long line of crowd but the teller or the people started yelling out. I thought it was funny that they told him right and get in the line like everyone else!! LOL passport in needed to purchase Port was nice clean and fast service. GNV cruise ferry lines was awesome. Had the cabin and was clean! Brong ypur food from outside. We dined on our way to Naples and on the way back-NOT! The server was rude. Just bec we came with the kids thought we want pizza. I arrived there on a cruise ship. I had to get to the airport and asked someone what was the best way to get there. They grabbed a taxi driver, that they obviously knew. He took me to his car, then told me it was going to cost me €150, up front, fixed price and wanted me to put my pin number and I told him I didn't remember it, that I normally just tapped. He entered €50 3 times and tapped it, taking €150. By the time we got there I had found out that the normal price was under €100. I asked him how he would feel if someone was ripping his mother off and he said the price was because I arrived on a cruise ship! Go outside the terminal if you need a taxi! Don't get ripped...

The Port of Palermo, dating back to Phoenician times, has been a bustling hub of commerce and culture for centuries. As a major Mediterranean trading center, it flourished under various rulers, including the Romans, Byzantines, and Normans. Today, it's one of Italy's busiest ports, welcoming cruise ships and offering vibrant markets, historic landmarks, and stunning sea views. A stroll through the port reveals layers of history and a lively atmosphere, making it a captivating destination for tourists.

Near some historical sites in Naples. The downside is that you will have to walk a great distance (15-30 minutes) or pay for a taxi if you don't have a car readily available, and that's just to go from site to site. There are restaurants everywhere, so it really depends on what you have a taste for. Just make sure you experience what Napoli is best known for, the culture and the pizza!
