Finch Sushi — Restaurant in Palermo

We came here because of the good ratings and found out that it was not up to the standards set up by the reviews. We ordered 2 tataki tuna which is the cause of this poor review. The 2 tataki tuna included 16 pieces with pistachio and spicy mayo included. When we got our main entree it was just 6 pieces of plain seared tuna with no mayo or pistachios similar to the maki tuna on the menu. Our waitress declared that was 2 orders of what we wanted and before I could say anything she turned away. I was confused but I begrudgingly ate it because I had not eaten all day and could no longer wait for anything else. When it came time for the check, I disputed the receipt with the waitress because we were given what was their maki tuna for €8 while what we really ordered was 2 tataki tuna for €32, a €24 difference that we were charged for. The waitress made an excuse that the maki tuna was actually €16 and not €8 like it said on their menu. I wanted to go further but the person I was with didn't want to continue bickering and paid the extra €24. I simply wanted to be charged for what I was given but their service...

Overpriced. Tiny portions. Staff upwelling. Although the fish is high quality and food was tasty, the portions are tiny and way too overpriced. In addition to this, staff upsold us on a menu item. We ordered what we had selected with prices in mind, at the end we had an additional charge of 30euro for an extra menu item that we hadn't even ordered! This was almost double what any of our other ordered items cost. They served it to us to "try". We were not made aware of the extra cost. We felt swindled. We left feeling hard done by and hungry. Very disapointed. We came to restaurant, was supposed to be open accoring to their opening hours since 19 but the waiter send us away because they are opening since 19:30. So we came back and ordered 2 uramaki rolls. We were 2 people in the restaurant but we waited for like 20 minutes. Finally the waiter brought us what we ordered, it was disapointment. The rolls were so small and they looked more like appetizer. The taste was allright but alltogether with size of it, it was really not worth the price.
