Overrated! I TASTED 7 KIND OF ARANCINA TONIGHT!
Firstly, I am originally from Sicily and grew up in. I lived my last 10 years between the North of Italy and the South of England.
I ate lot of different arancine ALL AROUND THE PLACES I USED TO LIVE and this is absolutely I would say neither a well done arancina nor a terrible one.
I am really sorry about my review but I expected more before doing a step in. I heard so much about the shop and then if I PAY A PIECE 3£ I would like to eat all right!
Anyway, you can find lot of choices of different arancine. In my opinion they are really original. I would suggest to GO FOR the salmon arancina, speck and nuts or sausage and friarelli ones.
Despite there was a remarkable queue we were served in a quite quick time. 5 stars! Location and staff 5 stars.
Anyway, go and grab some of arancine! You can't easily find ANYWHERE all of these different ingredients to taste. I am sure you will appreciate if you are...
Read moreIf you're an arancine enthusiast, Ke Palle is a must-visit. The sheer variety of flavors—from classic ragu and butter to inventive options like pistachio, seafood, and even sweet Nutella—makes this spot a playground for your taste buds. Vegetarian and vegan choices are also available, which is a thoughtful touch in a city known for meat-heavy street food.
🍽️ That said, the experience isn’t without its quirks. The place is quite small, with limited outdoor seating that can feel cramped, especially during peak hours. The payment process can be chaotic and confusing, which detracts from the otherwise fast-food vibe. Prices are slightly above average for street food, but arguably justified by the quality and creativity of the offerings.
🎯 Verdict: Go for the arancine, stay for the flavors—but don’t expect a leisurely sit-down meal or a smooth checkout. Worth a stop if you're strolling Via Maqueda and craving something...
Read moreDelicious arancina at this location. Warm and filling. Also without that horrible sticky texture you get from a bad arancine. We tried 4 - the tradiozanale (ragù), porcini, norma & pistacchio. If you could only try one I would suggest tradiozanale, of course. However, I think pistacchio might've been my favourite, simply because it surprised me the most. It was surprisingly savoury, not something I often associate with pistacchio. You really couldn't go wrong with any of them though, I suspect. When we went in, there was a decent amount of people in the store as well. Whilst the staff were helpful and prompt, it seemed like they needed a break. All of them looked quite tired and over it. This didn't affect their work, I just hope they're alright and are treated well by...
