An incredible place dedicated to pizza. Established in 1970, La Taverna di John specializes in wood-fired pizza. There are many types of pizza, from traditional to more elaborate, but everything is made with an incredible sense of flavor. I've been traveling around Italy for years, and I personally think this is, along with one pizzeria in Naples, the best I've ever eaten. For example, the pizza with mortadella/gorgonzola/buffala/truffle honey? It's absolutely amazing! The pizza with sun-dried black olives/sweet cherry tomatoes/anshovies and fresh oregano... We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the waitresses, the taste of the pizzas we tried (3 different kinds) and the reasonable prices.
