We had a very lovely meal tonight! Luckily they were able to fit us in, even though we didnt have a reservation (so think ahead and try to book one!). The food was delicious! I enjoyed my pasta dish and my boyfriend fell in love with just about everything he tried. I really wanted to order dessert but I was simply too full. Maybe next time we're in Palermo :D

The waiters were very attentive, incredibly friendly, and went out of their way to help us out when my boyfriend tried to order a course meal normally meant for two. I wish I had caught their names to personally thank them, but instead I'll say: the waiter who introduced the dishes was generously helpful and the youngest waiter who cleared the dishes was charming and fun. The rest of the staff were equally polite and friendly :)

The restaurant was filled with Italians (which I think speaks for the quality and authenticity). Sure, it's not the stereotypically quaint/charming/rustic feel tourists hope to find (and some reviewers complained about), but that might be the very thing that keeps this restaurant so authentic. They don't rely on kitsch to sell their food. The food speaks for itself - no frills needed.

Lovely, lovely, lovely, will one...

We were a table of 6 and really liked this place! They check the green pass at the door which makes me feel safe. They say our party even though some members were missing. Once everyone arrived we order bruschetta (yum) and €7 liters of wine! They had specials of the day which are the mussels pictured and the red fish. The red fish was smaller than expected and a I bit hard to eat but that was my fault for not researching it earlier. It was still very tasty! Everyone enjoyed their meal except for the pizza but that was also one of those things where the toppings just weren’t what they were expecting, nothing wrong with the pizza itself as it was exactly as described on the menu. The desserts are subject to availability so be flexible in your choice, the server listed out all the desserts rather than referring us to the back of the menu. Overall, a really great dinner, we spent over 3 hours there and never felt rushed. Would definitely go back again and don’t forget to make...

We had a great time here. I am a big foodie and I can confirm that the freshness of the ingredients and the flavour translated into a symphony in our mouth. The starter -the cold plater with local cold cuts and arancini was a great way to start the dinner and sample wine :) Fina - Kikè (white) Sea food risotto was fresh and rich! Good portion! Panzerotti Jato (stuffed pasta ) was with porcini mushroom and the sauce had walnut pesto and buffalo mozzarella and Sicilian pancetta ! I have never tasted such a great sauce in my life ! I would have ordered another portion had we not gone for dessert too! The deserts were in a display so you can see for yourself ! Staff were very nice and quick ! Overall we spent a bit of money but it was a 3 courses plus wine (plus water and coffee ) so it was well worth the money for the quality of food and amazing service we got !
