Yoshi — Restaurant in Palermo

Being of Asian decent and from Vancouver,BC Canada where some of the best Chinese/Japanese restaurants are located the expectations are high.

So finding an Asian restaurant in Sicily was a welcome relief from Italian food.

So… did Yoshi meet my expectations, for the most part yes. Food is more comfort food and a place I would go to for home style cooking. Not a high-end fancy Chinese/Japanese restaurant

Questo è Il primo ristorante sushi all you can eat in cui sono stato mi ha accompagnato per anni nella mia vita tutto sempre ottimo e i gamberi in tempura che ancora oggi reputo i migliori di palermo insieme alla sua particolare tartare di salmone con tabasco che per gli amanti del piccante è un esplosione in bocca, nulla da togliere anche hai suoi spiedini di gamberoni che non scorderò mai sempre caldi e succulenti e degli uramaki fritti veramente buoni, purtroppo negli anni per seguire il mio piccolo sogno di recensire più ristoranti possibili ho dovuto assentarmi per tanto tempo dai suoi tavoli però mentre ho trovato tempo l'altro giorno sono passato di fretta giusto per prendere un onigiri e correre via, appena entrato ho notato che erano molto indaffarati con gli ordini dei food delivery ma nonostante ciò dopo avergli detto che Volevo un onigiri da asporto neanche il tempo di girarmi che era già pronto purtroppo per la fretta l'alga era stata tagliata un pizzico piccola ma non mi importa di queste piccolezze l'importante è sempre la sensazione che ti da il cibo non appena lo assaggi e infatti non appena ho dato il primo morso mi è arrivata un esplosioni di sapori in bocca, il riso era veramente condito con una cura perfetta così tanto saporito da farmi tremare le papille gustative, nel secondo morso appena preso il gambero al centro ho sentito il sapore del riso immischiarsi con quello del gambero perfettamente, nessuno sovrastava l'altro. Questo mi ha ricordato da dove sono partito e soprattutto che è sempre un piacere tornare da loro. Grazie mille a tutto lo staff di yoshi per dare...

the food was not good ! The rice was hard and dry, the avocado was hard as the table and the surimi wasn't good. The tempura didn't look like and taste like tempura. We order two times, the first time they forgot half of the order so we waited 15minutes until we understood that they had forget about us so we order again and this time they simply forgot us so we waited 20 more minutes and asked them again so they came back 10 minutes later with our plates. we were 3 and payed 65e and that...
