Ruliano occupies a lovely spot on the Piazza della Steccata in Parma and offers delicious regional meats, cheeses, wines and honey. The prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. The scenery and atmosphere can’t be beat. I was recently in Parma for three days and I enjoyed my first meal so much that I stayed for over two hours and then went back again two days later for another meal. I’m not usually one to eat twice in the same town while traveling, so that should tell you something.

The servers take pride in the culinary tradition of their region and are happy to explain to you exactly what it is they are serving, for example the exact age of the cheese and ham and the uniqueness of the honey. My experience as a guest in this establishment was extremely disappointing. Despite their efforts, the experience fell short. Their recommendations were inaccurate, and when we voiced our concerns, the owner responded by shouting at us. Specifically, we were dissatisfied with their recommendation of the beef main course, which was inedible. The owner's aggressive and inappropriate behavior only added to the negative experience. I strongly advise others to avoid this place due to its negative energy and hostile attitude displayed by both the waitstaff...

Ho chiesto alla titolare di poter usufruire della toilette, mi rispondeva che non potevo usufruire della toilette perché non ero un cliente e quindi dovevo andare nel bagno del locale limitrofotro. Gli dicevo che per problemi dovevo recarmi in toilette lei con fare arrogante e cattivo mi continuava a negare il servizio in un locale pubblico aperto al pubblico,visto l'urgenza mi recavo in toilette dicendogli che se reputava poteva chiamare la polizia municipale. Uscito dalla toilette mi assalita verbalmente in presenza del personale e clienti senza permettermi di spiegare dicendomi che non dovevo più farmi vedere nel suo locale minacciando che avrebbe chiamato i vigili perché sono maleducato e arrogante. Mi sembra un comportamento che rasenta l'assurdo la mancanza totale di professionalità ed educazione perché ho chiesto ed ho usufruito della toilette di un locale pubblico aperto al pubblico dove esiste un regolamento che se il bagno è inagibile per giorni il locale rischia la chiusura per carenza di requisiti, ma nulla vieta che possa essere usato da un avventore non cliente soprattutto se vi è una particolare urgenza non procastinabile. Questa esercente dovrebbe scusarsi per la sua poca professionalità e non buttarmi fuori dal locale dicendomi di non farmi più vedere nel suo locale pubblico aperto al pubblico con una licenza pubblica.
