Ristorante Pizzeria Orfeo Parma — Restaurant in Parma

Orfeo is Top!! We have eaten in innumerable and far more expensive restaurants in Parma (we come from Paris where we’ve lived and eaten well for decades) and agree that Orfeo, a little off the beaten track, is by far is the best. The food was fresh, cooked on the premises ( as compared to reheated) and absolutely delicious! We started with a generous assorted Seafood Salad, then for my husband, a Pasta & Porcini dish (for once extremely tasty mushrooms!) and I, three succulent baby lamb chops cooked to perfection. 5* for our waiter Andrea who even though they were about to close for the afternoon, still with a smile let us sit and order and was pleasant and kind the whole time. We were hangry and 🥵 tourists that needed a cool place to sit and eat. The food and drink were decent. A bit pricier but it’s also downtown in a city so understandable. This is my favorite pizzeria in the entire world. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and 20 years and many many pizzas later I still come here whenever i have the chance.

The food here is really fantastic. You simply cannot go wrong. If you come for lunch try to get a table outside, and if you’re coming for dinner make sure to get here later (after 8) so that the oven is hot!
