We had a delightful dinner at Verde Salvia. This tastefully designed spot has a varied and interesting menu, featuring many items we’ve not seen on our trip. The service was outstanding, with very friendly, accommodating staff who delivered food and drink at just the right pace. Oh, and the welcome pour of prosecco was a very nice touch. The pizza here is first rate, with a light, fluffy crust cooked to perfection. Toppings are imaginative, and in our case they were accentuated by very high quality cheeses. A pizza here is enough to satisfy one person - unless you have a monster appetite! One of us had a pear & gorgonzola pizza, a regular item on their menu. Delicious! The other was a special item: fior di latte; big juicy prawns wrapped in pancetta; and, zucchini blossoms. Just outstanding! Our third person had a rice burger with tuna tartare, tomatoes and lemon. It was a very tasty, very generous serving. We rounded out the meal with three glasses of wine and post-dinner coffees (of course). All for €75; a very reasonable price for outstanding food and service. Highly recommend.

4.5/5. I really had a good experience. Along with some of my friends went for a dine in and the inside is quite well decorated. One vegetarian and three non vegetarian pizzas were order and the breads were so damn soft along with cheese sandwiched between the base and meat slices/ veggies topped over it on the bread base. It just melts in mouth. Coming to the sitting arrangement, it felt quite homely and was a compact space along with outdoor arrangements. Staff was friendly. We further went ahead to order the normal tiramisù and cheese cake, which were amzing and we're a good ending to our dinner and dine in at the pizzeria. I'm thankful for the experience.

Pranzo: molto carino e arredato con cura, accanto alla chiesa di San Michele. Mi sono fermata per una pausa pranzo e ho preso pancake nero con burrata e culatello di Zibello. Piatto originale, fresco e assolutamente con ingredienti di qualità. Cena qualche sera dopo: purtroppo, a parte la location, non posso confermare quanto dichiarato qualche giorno fa a pranzo. Abbiamo ordinato una farinata da dividere per la "modica" cifra di 15 euro ed era molliccia, calda dentro e brunita fuori come se fosse stata fatta al microonde. Deludente. Passiamo alle pizze: l'impasto base ha una percentuale di farina integrale ma devo dire che come sapore e consistenza è stata al di sotto delle aspettative... Più simile ad una focaccia fatta nel forno di casa e poi condita con ingredienti comunque di qualità, su questo nulla da dire. Da un ristorante ti aspetti che le pietanze "cucinate" siano buone, non solo gli ingredienti che si usano. Il costo poi decisamente sopra alla media per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Non torneremo.

Finalmente a Pavia una pizza che si può chiamare gourmet. Locale piccolino che durante la stagione calda si allarga grazie ai tavolini esterni. Ristorante che si trova di fronte la chiesa di San Michele in pieno centro storico, quindi impossibile da raggiungere in automobile a meno che non si sia in possesso di permessi per poter circolare nelle ztl. L’ambiente è molto carino, curato e arredato con stile moderno. Impasto ad alta fermentazione davvero leggerissimo e digeribile. Gli ingredienti tutti di altissima qualità sia nella pizza che nei pancake salati che abbiamo trovato davvero buoni. Anche i dolci hanno soddisfatto le nostre aspettative, in particolare il caffè gourmet accompagnato da tre tipi di dolci della carta. Personale giovane e molto educato. Carina l’idea di offrirci un prosecco accompagnato da un’assaggio della loro focaccia come entree. Prezzi in linea con l’offerta quindi non bassi ma assolutamente giustificati. Da consigliare!

I had my lunch at this beautiful restaurant. If you are open-minded about food and you like to try something new this is the right place for you. I like to enjoy the inspiration of the chef, gourmet pizza with green crispy sage was a great experience. Also the location is nice.

Recensione abbastanza difficile,innanzitutto perché recensire una pizzeria può apparire spesso banale.In questo caso ci sono tante luci e qualche ombra. Partiamo dai lati positivi : il menù è veramente gourmet,gli ingredienti sembrano tutti di alto livello e c'è tantissima varietà. L'impasto della pizzata, diverso da quello delle pizze classiche, è veramente notevole. Non mi convince invece l'impasto usato per le pizze classiche,anche se può dipendere esclusivamente da un mio gusto personale. I prezzi sono un po' più alti della media, presumo (e mi auguro) dipenda dalle materie prime utilizzate. La cosa che secondo me sarebbe da rivedere è nel reparto bevande, dove la scelta è veramente troppo ridotta per un locale che comunque ambisce ad essere un punto di riferimento.
