This is not a regular wine bar, not at all, this is most like the most epic wine-food night that you will ever have in your life!! FRITTOLE IS A MUST BE IN PERUGIA!! Several years ago I stepped inside this tiny wine bar (it is very tiny, no more that 7/8 tables) and since then it became my favorite place is town, hands down!! The owners, Lillo e Lilla, are truly passionate about wine as well as cheese and charcuterie and they always have some speciality to treat their customers with, some of them are not just speciality, are pretty awesome gems (the menu and the offer are very seasonal, so what you will find is unpredictable!!) We stumbled upon this place while visiting from the states and had such a wonderful experience there. They were very patient and kind in working with our very limited [basically non-existent] Italian, and took the time to try to explain the dishes and wine list in English. Not only was the service absolutely amazing, but the food and wine was delicious. We stumbled upon this charming little restaurant by chance and were immediately drawn in by its inviting atmosphere. What started as a quick stop for a light bite turned into a delightful full dinner. The waitress was incredibly kind, patiently walking us through the menu, and the owner, who also happens to be the chef, took the time to share her passion and knowledge for the wine selections.
