La Romantica Pizzeria - Borgo XX Giugno, 9, PG — Restaurant in Perugia

Prices are great, I have no idea why TripAdvisor indicates €€. When you enter you will be instantly happy, the large pizza oven will turn a smile on your face. Pizza prices are from 6 up to about 10 euro. My pizza with asperges, gorgonzola and ham was delishes. It's called pizza Romantic but when you enter the restaurant the most romantic are a few rose pictures on the wall :) The place could really benefit from a few suttle details to enhance the atmosphere. The color of the walls, the table cloth and some better lighting would improve the place a lot. But don't let that hold you back, this is definitely the place to eat if you are here! The staff is lovely and very hospitable. They have some nice desserts which tasted very fresh. And if it was for tourists only they could easily charged twice as much and I still would have...

When visiting our daughter in Perugia, she told me she would take us to the BEST Pizzeria in town. Coming from New York where we have a high standard of what is considered excellent pizza, I was skeptical. When we first walked in we noticed the large wood fire oven. Seeing that I instantly knew this was going to be high quality pizza as this is how the greatest pizza is made.

My wife and two kids each ordered different types of pizza. Once the pizza arrive I told my daughter "This is exactly what I imaged it would look like" Then I tasted it and OMG!! This pizza was out of this world. The sauce, cheese and toppings were so fresh and delicious.

Prenoto il venerdì per cenare il sabato, arrivato al locale chiedo e mi dicono che la prenotazione non risultava e quindi mi fanno aspettare e dopo circa 15 minuti mi fanno accomodare, eravamo in tre. Aspettiamo circa altri 10 per ordinare (fino a qua comunque sarebbe stato un ottimo servizio dato che hanno provveduto comunque a sistemarci nonostante l’errore e la molta gente). Il problema è che poco dopo l’ordinazione la capo sala viene da me chiedendomi se effettivamente avessi chiamato il numero giusto e non avessi sbagliato io (dato che hanno più di una sede). Premetto che sono un po’ permaloso ma non mi è sembrato cortese tornare al tavolo e chiedere questa cosa come cercando un mio errore nella prenotazione, dopo di che le pizze sono arrivate dopo circa un’ora di attesa. Capisco la molta gente del sabato sera ma non è possibile aspettare 3 pizze un’ora. Dopodiché sulla pizza niente da dire, nonostante l’abbia mangiata alle 23 non mi ha dato nessun problema nel digerirla ed era veramente ottima vale solo lei le tre stelle. Dato che il prodotto è ottimo consiglio di migliorare...
