The best focaccia sandwich ever… we ordered the Giacomo- salami with eggplant cream with taleggio cheese- stronger quality salami, a Diana prosciutto, mozzarella grilled zucchini and mayo- very nice and light our fav of the three ordered, and the Tricolore- mozzarella, tomato and pesto a caprese on bread… all served on the freshest focaccia bread! Aperol and Hugo spritzes. Best Hugo Spritz yet…. Great food, great drinks and super friendly and attentive service. They’ don’t have many tables but worth the wait, which wasn’t long even with a large party....

This looked to be a popular place as we walked by and we discovered why. The sandwiches, or as the menu stated, “LE NOSTRE SCHIACCIATE” which my translation app came up with “our squeezes” or “our dunks” … which seem like ‘focaccia” or “panini” would be more suitable … but whatever name you apply these babies rivalled or exceeded the famed Al’Antico Vinaio product … at a smaller size. I enjoyed the mozzarella, tomato, and pesto in the tricolore and my wife was very fond of the Special that included salami...

It's a fantastic cafe with a stunning view of the Arno river and bridge. I absolutely loved everything about this place!

The Schiacciata was incredibly delicious, and they even had a vegetarian option (which included cheese and eggs, in addition to vegetables). I highly recommend everyone to try the Schiacciata. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back again.
