Palazzo della Sapienza — Attraction in Pisa

The palace is magnificent, having recently undergone a comprehensive renovation and now housing the faculty of law. As you stroll through its corridors, you'll find a fascinating display of ancient relics unearthed during restoration. Unfortunately, the glass case housing these artefacts appears to have been neglected for months, possibly since the building's reopening and is now teeming with deceased flies. One might wonder if the staff shortage is the cause, but rectifying it takes less than five minutes. During my visit, I noticed two employees from the faculty (behind the reception) who seemed more engrossed in their phones than their surroundings. While they may not be responsible for maintenance, they could have at least brought the issue to someone's attention instead of remaining idle during their work hours. The palace itself certainly merits a five-star rating, but the staff's performance (one-star) leaves room for improvement. Thus, I believe a three-star rating strikes a fair...

Pretty decent old building, now seems to be a law school, actual lessons were in progress (quiet!). Inside has some really really old architecture (no school in the USA looks like this). Free to walk around. Look at photos in the entrance, an earthquake tore the place apart, look right and see what survived.

Il suo cortile interno, cui si accede da varie porte aperte alla città, viene incessantemente percorso da studenti, professori e Pisani e ne fa un centro di incontro d’eccellenza.
