Finally i found the time to review this beautiful place. The restaurant is located in a inner alley to the storic center of the city. My family and me attended the 20th of September at 8pm without reservation. We were promptly welcomed by the owner Federico and his girlfriend Chiara in a very professional and kind way. We asked to be sat inside,but when we saw the stunning garden terrace outside we asked to move there and Federico and Chiare were happy to do so even if we were served our amuses already(polpetti alla luciana, delicious). We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and a Muller Thurgau that were spot on and well served. My 3yo daughter had a clams and mussle medley and out of menù chef Simone cooked for her steamed couliflowers and some amazing tuna nuggets that were well presented,she had some hand cut chips too that were very good. We went for the baccalà and truffle tartellets and a revisited cacciucco as starters,they were outstanding,as mains the wild mushroom and prawns risotto, fresh caught fish of day which was Ricciola on a aubergine cream and a delicious parsley sauce,the fritto misto which was stunning and the fish was very fresh and for dessert pistachio semifreddo and lemon bavarese. The food was banging,top notch cooking and high end garnished with sauces and purees well described by Chiara. They also amused us on the house with some specials from the chef like his warm brown bread and naturally fermented vegetables. Chef Simone came to the table to ask if everything was ok and we had a chat as colleagues as I am a chef too. I work in fine dining establishments for 17 years now and I can proudly say this guy knows what he is doing.you can see the passion in his eyes as he talks about his recipes. The place is everything BUT offish. The athmosphere is peaceful and makes you feel home as soon as you walk in. The service was professional without any fail. What else, if you find yourself in the crooked tower town go nowhere else than Offish. We were adviced by locals being told that this was the best restaurant to eat fish, and it definetly was!! Hell, even if you are just driving by on the autostrada, make a short detour for the sake of your tastebuds. If you are in town even for a quick selfie in front of the Pisan tower, just take a short 15-minute walk to the quiet corner of the city center to enjoy the great food and relaxing atmosphere. The owners' personal touch from the moment you step inside the restaurant, the quiet and cozy garden, the exquisite food - you can't miss any of that. Try tartar, and don't limit yourself to tuna: they offer much more than that. Octopus is to die for (in my humble opinion). Of course, don't forget the wine. The menu is short, straight to the point. Too bad, I don't work for Michelin guide - I would have skipped all the initial ratings and given them three stars right away. They deserve it. Locale abbastanza bello, anche se, almeno la sala d'ingresso un po' fredda, vedevo che era riscaldata solo da un piccolo radiatore. bhe ecco forse non sufficiente per questo tipo di ambiente dato che la porta viene aperta e chiusa spesso.
Sedute molto comode e bello anche lo stile del locale. Nota dolente: 1h e 15 minuti circa di attesa, di venerdì sera nonostante il locale fosse pieno, però non è tollerabile così tanta attesa, senza neanche delle scuse o qualcosa (entré a parte) da degustare nel mentre.
Abbondantemente passata l'ora arrivano i camerieri con i piatti, gli stessi che ci avevano servito la bottiglia di vino, ormai temperatura ambiente, prima.
Piatti dall'aspetto accattivante, molto buoni i panini e altrettanto buono il secondo di polpo.
Mangiamo e andiamo via.... Non vediamo e sentiamo neanche l'ombra di un ringraziamento o di una scusa. Nota dolente 2 Paghiamo... 4 persone 59.50..... Neanché l'onestà e il garbo di togliere 50 centesimi. Che vergogna.
Forse ci ritorneró solo per la cucina ma per il resto è da 2 stelle.

Messaggio 2 La nostra prenotazione era alle 20.45.. Saremo arrivate forse dieci minuti dopo ma non di più. In merito invece al mio appunto non degno neanche di risposta, mi dispiace, ma per sua fortuna o sfortuna seguo ben tre attività ristoratrive come la sua, quindi so benissimo cosa c'è dietro il vostro lavoro, quanto impegno e quanti sacrifici. Per il conto avrei pagato anche 20 euro jn più, data la qualità dei prodotti, come ho già detto. Ma il mio, appunto, era solo un commento per migliorare il vostro servizio / rapporto con i clienti. In quanto a parer mio è ciò che nel TEMPO fa la differenza in un posto.
