Don't let your holiday be tarnished by people who work without any sense of humanity or respect, let alone service.
We had chosen the restaurant to support the work of two elderly women; however, unfortunately, our experience was completely disappointing and angering. Unlike the lady who greeted us with a smiling face at the entrance, the other maid was completely disrespectful, rude and acted in pursuit of financial gain. Although we ordered half a liter of wine, a salad and a lasagna for a table for two, they told us that we had to order an additional dish. We said okay even though it sounded ridiculous because no one wants to miss out on a vacation, but since our power bank was broken, we wanted to turn the menu and charge our phone for a few minutes to order another dish.
While we were trying to charge our phone, despite trying to reach the menu on the wall, it showed the sign “NOT CHARGABLE” loudly and started to say NO NO NO incoherently, the fact that they even hung something like this on the wall showed how money-oriented the business is. All these rude behaviors, even if you are the owner or employees of the restaurant, this situation is absolutely unacceptable.
Most importantly, after these disgusting and disrespectful attitudes, we wanted to wash my hands and leave the restaurant because something oily from the table stuck to my hand. THE DISRESPECTFUL WOMAN RAN FROM BEHIND! YES RUNNING! She got in front of me and started yelling NO No, the only English word she knew. She was saying no food no bathroom, but we tried to order around 40 euros and she didn't like it.
This attitude does not end with just disregarding the customer's interest, the uncontrollable, contemptuous and humiliating service approach clearly shows that the person does not respect people and labor. We do not excuse such an attitude in any way; I hope this behavior will reflect on...

This charming spot is the epitome of traditional Italian hospitality, where not a word of English is spoken, ensuring an immersive cultural experience.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, exuding the rustic charm that makes you feel like you've stepped into an Italian home. The service is heartfelt and attentive, making you feel like part of the family.
We had the pleasure of trying the gnocchi with gorgonzola and pollo cacciatora, both of which were absolutely outstanding. The gnocchi was perfectly tender and paired wonderfully with the rich, creamy gorgonzola sauce. The pollo cacciatora was equally impressive, featuring succulent chicken simmered to perfection in a robust and flavorful sauce. Each dish was a testament to the time-honored recipes passed down through generations.
Dining here is not just about the food; it's about the experience. The genuine care and love that go into each dish are palpable, making every bite a delightful journey into authentic Italian cuisine. If you're in Pisa and want to experience true Italian tradition, this restaurant is...
Read moreI'd say this is by far the most familiar dining experience of our trip. While visiting Pisa for a day, my wife found this gem to have a late lunch after visiting the cathedral and the tower.
La Nonna, La Mamma, and Milly run an incredible show, so familiar, so warm. This is not your typical tourist trap. Don't expect a fancy place, expect truly Italian home made food, Milly, very entertaining while serving you, and even better, la mamma and la nonna walking around making sure you ate everything from your plate. Even the little ones, mine ordered a sausage pasta on her own, I ordered the ragú thinking I was going to finish hers... With luck I was able to clean her plate with bread. Dessert was great, sadly the last tiramisu was ordered by the table before us and we got panacotta which was delicious.
I wouldn't want the place to become overcrowded with tourists, but la Nonna, la Mamma and Milly really deserve the credit and...
