This quaint little restaurant is quite a gem. Small but cool. The service is amazing. We stop there because my wife saw that.the cook was standing outside of the kitchen which sits nicely across from the restaurant. When we walked by and we saw him standing there. My wife asked him, is there Vino in there? And he responded no, this is the kitchen. The restaurant is across the way. He then proceeded to walk us over to the restaurant and introduce us to the server. The server then didn’t hesitate and told us to sit. We couldn’t refuse. And we so glad we did. the food was outrageous. My wife and I are vegetarians and vegans and we could not believe how good the food was. We had eggplant Parmesan and it was to die for. We also had two glasses of red wine that were also good. All we did was ask him for the house wine. the waiter spoke very, very good English. He was really cool. Tats and all. We highly recommend you check this place out. When we first arrived, there were only a few patrons there eating, but then more and more people started sitting down. We also had the tiramisu which really rocked. We had a complete full meal and only paid €47. That included three glasses of wine, two meals, a cappuccino,...
Read moreThe quality of the food is correct, the octopus on the burrata is good, instead the sandwiches are nothing special Friendly waiters. Unfortunately, the owner is a no-go that, as Italian customers residing abroad, we cannot accept. When asked for some water for the dog, we were told, in summary "I have no container, you have to bring the bowl from home if you want the dog to have water". The accumulation of the content of the response, and of the tone, results in an attitude vis-à-vis of the customer that does not reflect our values as people, customers, tourists, animal lovers and in love with our country. On the contrary, they determine a human attitude that we feel we must report, unfortunately to the detriment of the good efforts of fellow waiters, who told us with a disconsolate air "eh, we know, but you know, today is a complicated day in the kitchen and he's not fine". For a gastronomic activity in such an important crossing point, I believe we can expect better, especially when all similar places nearby demonstrate incomparable quality in...

And 2 in our party have celiac and raved about the GF lasagne. Great service and great prices. It's the perfect little Italian cafe.
