Lovely looking bar, the waiter came over promptly (within a minute of us arriving) and kindly asked what we were having to drink, my dad asked for a coffee to which the waiter informed us they don’t sell coffee (this was not a problem, and my dad was very happy for the excuse to have a wine), which my dad said to the waiter. My dad then asked me what I was having and I said I’m still deciding as we’d only arrived a couple of minutes (maximum!) before. The waiter, rather impatiently then informed us they were closing and we had to vacate the table we were sat at - this was whilst a different waiter walked passed with a fresh tray of aperol spritz, olives and breadsticks for the neighbouring table. I thought this was strange, so I googled the closing time which says it is 11PM and we were there at 4:30PM. I have no idea why the waiter behaved so impatiently but...
Read moreTO BE AVOIDED. Unfortunetly the owner was rude. After we finished eating he first came to our table and asked if we were gona stay any longer. I told him that i was waiting for my girlfriend and then we.ll pay and leave soon. Then the waitress came to the table and cleand it up with nearly half of glass of Aperol. No question asked i didn.t even had the time to react. Went to pay and the owner saw the opprtinity and told my girlfriend to leave. Let me say it again he saw me at the register ready to pay and got past me and DEMANDED MY GIRLFRIEND TO VACATE THE TABLE. The name is "sotto arco" because is just under an cool arch of stone when you can stay peaceful without any affraid of hotness outside. The food is delicious. We've eaten a very good sandwich with tuna and another one with prosciutto crudo e mozzarela but the very good one was octopus.
