I visited this restaurant for lunch, and I was extremely disappointed with both the service and the food. The waiter acted like a robot—cold, indifferent, and completely lacking in any courtesy. No smile, no effort to make our lunch pleasant. The whole experience felt tense and uncomfortable instead of welcoming.Honestly, I was quite disappointed when I found out that on top of everything, we had to pay 5 euros for two people just for sitting down for lunch at the restaurant. I understand that this is called coperto, but I didn’t expect a fee, especially since we were already planning to spend enough on food and drinks. It left a bad taste because it felt like you were paying just for the right to sit down without receiving anything in return. It's not pleasant when something like this spoils the whole experience. The Marinara pizza I ordered was even worse. Instead of a flavorful pizza with a hint of garlic, I was served soggy dough drowned in cheap tomato sauce. The garlic, which should have given the dish its signature taste, was entirely absent. It was bland and tasteless, like it was thrown together without care. To make things worse, the €4 cappuccino had burnt milk, leaving a bitter taste instead of the smooth, comforting drink I expected. On top of that, the service was shockingly unprofessional. I’m attaching a picture of the waiter playing on his phone right in the middle of the restaurant, completely ignoring the guests. It's unacceptable behavior for any establishment to allow their staff to be so careless in front of customers. Overall, I wouldn't return or recommend this place to anyone until they improve their staff's professionalism and the quality of their food. The view is beautiful! The mixed meat plate was cooked well but underseasoned. I'm not sure if the pizza crust was too thin in the center, but it was soggy (not undercooked though, so that's good at least). The outer edges were cooked well. The sauce itself was ok, but not the flavor I was hoping for. The bread basket was really good and came with good quality olive oil. I was pleased the most with this. A high-quality Italian bread! I asked for red wine but got white. An honest mistake, so I drank it anyway. It was good, although a bit sweet for me. The cappuccino was not great. It tasted burnt, but drinkable. The Gelato! Amazing. I had coffee and tiramisu flavors, and they were refreshing and satisfying. The espresso beans in the coffee Gelato gave it a wonderful texture. The service was not as bad as some others have described. I was seated quickly, served quickly, and the check was brought and processed quickly. It wasn't busy at the time, but I did not dine at peak hours either. The staff were friendly but not warm, which is fine. I appreciate people being genuine. I do wish they were not on their phones as much because it's unprofessional, but it did not disrupt my service very much. I was not pressed to offer a tip, and when my visa was charged, it did not include one, so I tipped in cash and was happy to do so. I don't recall if I was charged a service fee, but the food was priced decently, so I wouldn't mind paying it.

Found this place after a day walking around the pompei archaeological park. Prices were a touch more than I was more than I was expecting but happy to pay given the location. What I didn't realise was that €2.50 service charge was automatically added for each person. The food was OK but not great. The waiter looked like he'd never smiled in his life and everything was a chore. My big gripe is that when the bill arrived with the service charge added the waiter bluntly said it doesn't include a tip. The bill came to €57. I left €70 for payment. The waiter took it away and brought it back as shown in the photo, €3 only, obviously hoping that because I was a tourist that I wouldn't mind. I questioned where the other €10 was and guess what, he said 'oh, you gave me 70 didn't you' and pulled a €10 note out of his pocket. My advice is, if you go here, prepare to be conned!

Horrible place. The food was nasty. My bf ordered a seafood pizza after being told it had shrimp instead he got octopus and mussels with no cheese on the pizza. My son got a steak that was mainly fat. The waiter asked, fries..... I asked does it come with the meal? He said yes, but it didn't, and I got charged 7 dollars for fries. My pizza had ham that tasted like it was boiled and tasted like bologna. The food was soooooo horrible. That's why we were the only one ones in the restaurant besides one guy that came in after us. It is in front of a huge tourist attraction with zero customers for a reason.

To the owner's response, I like how you only responded to me when I didn't call you names like other reviews. Read your reviews!

Look at how many people rate this place as an one! This should definitely be an eye openner to the owner, but he is too aggressively arrogant to admit that his business is a failure! Thank you, for your response putting my ten year down saying he didn't enjoy your "fresh" fried fries? Come on, there's a problem if a ten year old didn't like your fries, who can mess that up? I said the steak was full of fat, for 25 dollars it was completely fat! Fresh and fat are two different things or do I need to explain English again! Replying with "Given his lack of culinary culture," ummm my bf is Egyptian! He is from the Mediterranean as Italy also is, and my son and I have been there not even less then a year ago! The food was delicious there, so don't assume I haven't traveled or my 10 year old is as arrogant as you are! My ten year old knows more countries then you I can simply just say like you did just because it makes me sound better huh like you did. Did you see me rate any other Italian restaurant bad or just yours? My bf said he ordered seafood pizza elsewhere and asked what it had before he ordered it because it had shrimp and cheese the day before we came here when he ordered it elsewhere! Your waiter said it did like saying the fries came with the steak! Don't say yes if you have no idea how to speak english then because clearly there is a communication problem!!!!!! And yes, if you say yes, and it is different every customer has the right to say that you said it wrong!!!!Ok, say, I don't know good food, next time cook good food and dont burn the pizza, and you wouldn't need to respond with such embarrassment of being told everything you did wrong. Please read all the one reviews you have! It is the most ones I have seen a business have! Shame on you not changing and putting a tip plate on my table after we tipped with the service charge on the bill, and why did you deserve a tip? Did you ever come back to the table after we had drunken our drinks and had none? Nope, that is how you get tips, by SERVICING! We had no ketchup, salt, or pepper that is again, on the table in America. A waiter asks if the customer needs anything, you can not service and want a tip, because in America, it is earned by work. You did give yourself a tip by the service charge idotiot. If you don't want me as a customer again, no problem, that was a 120 dollar bill and NOBODY EVEN ATE THE FOOD! The food made my oldest son and me sick by the way with the little we ate and haven't been able to eat pizza since. And I am 6 months pregnant, and I love how sick I got that night and the day after from your nasty food. You got me and my baby sick...

This is a very horrible restaurant, and the bad reviews even reflect that! As for my experience with how horrible this place is, I left my food that I ordered and had to pay for it, and i had to go to another restaurant after to eat! Really tells alot about how nasty and lying staff of this restaurant! I ordered a sea food pizza..asked the waiter if it comes with shrimp on it he lied and said yes! The pizza came with clams and octopus! No shrimp at all and the pizza had no cheese at all! Just sauce, so I complained and told him I was told the pizza comes with shrimps, and how come it has no cheese so they start lying saying sea good pizza doesn't come with cheese( I had sea food pizza in Rome and in Venice before and both came with cheese) so I know that's a lie as he lied about the shrimp! They took away my pizza and instead of fixing their mistakes and makes me a new one at least ( cause that what a decent restaurant should do whatever to satisfy their customers!) They brought me back the same pizza i complained about but this time they added some shrimps to it ( the smallest shrimp you could ever find in the market! The sell it in canes in carrefour for 2 euros!) This restaurant is by far the worst experience I had in my vacation in italy... despite the fact that their food is so nasty and gross, they are also professional liars lied to us about a steak we ordered and asked if fries comes with it as a side and he said it's part of it! Them charged us on it and said sorry ny English isn't good!! We paid for food we didn't not eat or...
